Default Democratic congressional candidate admits voting in 2 states, drops out

    http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/mar...,2056999.story

This idiot didn't even know voting in 2 states at the same time was a problem.

Looks like Harris dodges another bullet.

There is no way someone running for office did not know that it's illegal to vote in two different states like that. It is not enough that she drop out of the race. She should be prosecuted to send a strong message and as an example. I simply do not believe that she did not know.

I think it is possible she didnt know. She's probably not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I agree, prosecute. Did I just agree with you.

I agree, she is at least an idiot, but what does the DNC have to do with it?

The DNC made her withdraw from the race once they found out.

I've never heard of the woman. She's clearly an idiot who had no business running for elective office. I gather the Dems weren't seriously contesting the election.

If one looked at Congress, one would assume that being an idiot was a qualification for office.

    Amen!

Wasn't it Mark Twain who said: "Suppose you were a Congressman...and suppose you were an idiot. But I repeat myself..."

Voter fraud, of course it never happens.

    Except by Democrats.

    And their candidates.

Which party is against Voter ID laws?

    Of course.

Question: How would have any voter ID law stopped this idiot from voting twice?

Are you contending that a military id card would not be sufficient for voting?

    She's in the military?
If not, presumably she would only have id in one state ( assumption being she would use the most common form of id, namely Driver's License, unless she obtained driver's licenses in both states, which is also illegal) and in at least one of the states she would have thus presented an out of state id which may have lead to further inquiry-- oh, wait, that's right since there is no voter fraud, no checks, inquiries or verifications should be done so we don't discourage anybody from voting.

I don't see how she was caught anyway unless someone close to her or someone somehow knew it and ratted her out --- to me it just underscores the point of how in the worlsd can anybody know if voter fraud is significant or not when there are no checks?

My point is that military id doesn't have an address, and it is a valid form of identification in every state in the us.

A fair and valid point. Why not create one massive system that checks registrations vs SSN?
