I told Mitt to go to bed at 10.
Exactly! A large percentage of the 47% Romney is saying do not pay taxes and don't contribute are retires that paid taxes and contributed all of their working lives but are now retired. Romney just pissed off the one demographic that he could have locked up to vote for him.
I wonder what portion of the 47% who he claims are leeches and victims are the conservative working-class white males who are supposedly Romney's base?
He sure isn't going to win with only rich people voting for him.
I've seen absolutely no evidence of even average intelligence or hard work from this spoiled brat.

You can stick a fork in Romney now, he is done!
And I thought the GOP was against "class warfare"? This is the most crude form of class warfare. I think Mitt "The Nowhere Man" Romney is rather a crude fellow.
The media keeps bringing up Obama's "clinging to God and guns" audio tape. The big difference is that many Americans do cling to God and guns, especially in hard times, as Obama pointed out and they are proud of it and hold it against Obama because they think he doesn't cling to God and guns. Not many are going to embrace Mitt's statement.
But Romney just wants to help Americans. He want to get get Grandpa out of the Nursing Home and get him a real job. That way Grandpa doesn't have to be dependent on the government after spending his life paying into Social Security.![]()
Where are all of our posters from the right, tonight?![]()
Mitt knows he stepped in it
Many of those 47% who don't pay Federal income taxes pay Payroll taxes, State income taxes, property taxes, and sales taxes...
They were hauling out the big guns to defend Romney's latest blunder. The Chairman of the GOP, what's his name, Rinse Penis was all over the talk shows trying to convince people that Romney's right. It's the rest of the world that's wrong.![]()
what's funny, is probably half the republican base also doesn't pay taxes and lives off the government but still will vote for Romney anyways..... Just look at a poverty map of the US, then look at an electoral vote of the US.
Wow...
Just a stunning development. I notice that Shadow is still frantically posting his headlines but, really, it's over.
The silver lining here is that maybe, just maybe, the Powells' and the Bloomberg's and the Rice's and the Hagel's and Lieberman's will get together and form a third party that presents conservatives with an alternative to the wingnuts running the GOP
