I watch, on average, sixty movies per month on DVD. I would never be able to narrow it down to just 5.

The 'Outlaw Josie Wales' always comes to mind.

'Fools Parade' with Jimmy Stewart and Strother Martin.

I could never name just 5.

Casablanca (never mind "Frankly, my dear" & even "Here's looking at you": "Welcome back to the fight. This time I know our side will win" is the best line in movies)

2001: A Space Odyssey, White Heat, The Killers, Apocalypse Now.

    5. The Wizard of Oz

Obviously I am not good at picking five all-time great movies; these are the first five that come to my mind as memorable standouts. I have to give honorable mention to a few films from my youth that stand out in my mind: The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming; Charade; It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World; Gone With the Wind; almost any of the classic Disney old school animations; and what was the one with Audrey Hepburn as the blind woman and Alan Arkin as a knife-weilding killer?

I can remember going to see that at a late show. We were waiting in the lobby for the earlier show to end and suddenly heard everyone inside let out a huge SCREAM. It made it really interesting when we were watching, wondering what was going to happen. We screamed too.
