Could be mistaken, but it looks like the only undefeated team through Week 4 who has also Mercy Ruled all 4 of its opponents is Suitland.

Dmass had a runniing clock on all of it's opponents as well, the 14 points have been scored on reserves

Does MoCo run the clock when you have a 3 point lead? They squeaked by Sherwood 23-20.

Reading comprehension is essential, my old friend. My reponse was to the week 4 reference. Looking forward to a possible RH Dmass matchup this year.

I see Elkton upseting Perryville. They have a new coach and their RB is a tank. Arundel should beat old mill this year.
I think St.francis could win theB this year. They have athletes everywhere.
If Wi hi still had Ayers they could win the 2a title

Football in MOCO overall is pretty bad. There are 4 legitimate teams:
Seneca Valley, Damascus, Quince Orchard and Sherwood. The latter two are 4A.
Unless these teams are playing each other, chances are the game will have a lopsided score.
For a County that has approximately 23 high schools this isn't very good. The above listed are the only teams in MOCO that have a chance to make any noise in the post season. MOCO used to dominate the state playoffs. When is the last time they had a football champion at any class level?

What you state is the norm across all leagues/ counties to me. There are a couple stand out teams in each league / county and the rest are mediocre to bottom feeders. PGCo also have 23-plus schools with all their 4A teams in one region so four are guaranteed to make the playoffs but only one can advance out of the region. In AAco its Old Mill and Arundel as the top dogs. In HoCo it's River Hill, River Hill, River Hill, and an occasional roar from Wilde Lake. Out in the bay there is Kent Island and Queen Anne. Even in the privates ( WCAC and MIAA ) there is DeMatha and Good Counsel for the WCAC and Gilman and Calvert Hall for the MIAA. Yeah, it's been a minute since MoCo has won it all. But weren't they favorite last year in the 4A title game and GA had CO already penciled in to close the deal this season. PGCo, the other big boy, also hasn't won it all. Besides talent, good coaching, and other key factors, luck may play a good part in the dance.

Sherwood went 14-0 in 4A in 2008. Held a VERY tough Linganore team to just a field goal in the championship game. Damascus won the 3A the year before.

Doesn't Seneca Valley still have more state titles than any other school in the MPSSAA?

According to bmagic33 MOCO hasn't won since 2008. Agree, luck has something to do with it....Frederick County seems very very competitive given its small size: Urbana, Linganore, Middletown, Thomas Johnson, Walkersville. Even Frederick, Brunswick and Catoctin have good teams from time to time. Tuscarora isn't very good but they crushed MOCO Rockville.... That is probably most of the schools in Frederick County....

Okay but don't most of the FredCo teams you named play mostly each other? And yes Tuscarora beat MoCo Rockville, a traditionally poor MoCo team I think went winless last season. But last year's 3A runner up Thomas Johnson lost to weak Friendly this year. And didn't Urbana lose to Westminster?
