    Slap

Please re-read my last post, where did I say ND would win, I actually said the opposite, once again...............You have the selective reading issue.
    See Ya in January !

Actually, I just wanted to see you repeat it. Gotta have a little fun here.

I am anxiously awaiting, after the Georgia game, to see how Vegas handicaps the championship game before I finalize my prediction. They scrutinize all the stats and latest injury lsit, etc before Vegas puts any numbers on it...and even then, those numbers will probably change as we get closer to game time. I usually build off of what the odds makers predict. We'll see what they say? Regardless, gonna be a LOT of $$ bet on this game, that's for sure.

Oh, and for the record, I doubt you are a WWII vet (per your screen name). Why? My dad is a WWII vet, and I've spent a lot of time with his friends who are also vets...those that are still alive....and at ages ranging from 85-95, they simply don't have the interest to be blabbing away on the Internet 10X a day, like you do. Time is too short for the greatest generation....not to mention that most are in bed by 9. But I already knew you were a liar.

Now, we're done; vis a vi, dmc's previous post to stay on topic.

OB is for my late father who was a rifleman with the 29th division, 175th infantry who landed onOB on dday plus one. I am younger then you grandpa. Anybody reading these posts who really were in the, service(like me) know you are full of sheet about being a Vietnam Vet and a professor at U of M unless you teach how to post comments on the internet.

    Who do you root for/against?

I have been posting on the college forum for years. If you were genuinely interested in college sports, you would have seen plenty of my posts, and would know. As per DMC's post - this thread is about ND football, and not about what teams I root for, or my military service. Along those lines, it's revealing that some of you supposed ND fans haven't posted one thing about their team. Not one post. For you, it really isn't about football, is it? It's about all the other chit. Funny.

So, do you have any opinions on who you would like ND to face? Who will win? Should Te'o win the Heisman? Why? Differential? Anything?

Typical slap.....seriously why can't you ever admit being wrong, even when simply mis-reading, something in a post.

If I may, I'll answer your question to Ms Maggie.

Doesn't matter who ND plays, at least we got there, undefeated !

Will ND win? you already re-iterated my answer.. but never underestimate the Luck of the Irish.

As far as Heisman, you know I'm going to say Manti or you wouldn't have asked. My reason, he portrays what the trophy winner is all about " The Heisman Trophy is Awarded for The outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity."according to their website.

As far as Vegas and the betting arena, could give a crap......

Will be watching to see who we play for the title after tomorrow, be back then

Any you know that I mis-read your post, how, exactly? Are you a mind reader?

Maybe a better response would have been - I didn't read it at all. Now that's more believable!!

Oh, and "doesn't matter who ND plays", just shows your ignorance (or arrogance) of the sport. Assuming you want ND to win (duh), some teams match up better than other's. Most fans of the sport have already picked their preference....but desn't matter to you? LOL. OK. As you wish.

It will be The Tide. But then again, we all know how well my predictions have been, of late. Lol.

    Glad you find me entertaining.

As to your question above - ummm, maybe I didn't read your first post #96 (that was the post I was rferring to), but did read your follow-up post? How 'bout that? Do try to keep up.

Or maybe, as I said, I just enjoy seeing you say - twice - that ND would lose.. Keep it coming!

My Heisman pick? Johnny Manziel, or better known as "Johnny Football" from Texas A&M.

So the measure of one's interst in college sports is keeping on top of your posts?

And Teo should win the Heisman.

I root for Northwestern and Pitt and ND and BC, all schools with ties to my family

So the measure of one's interst in college sports is how closely one follows your posts.

    How extraordinarily self absorbed.

    Hardly.

The point is - you're really not a fan of college football, are you. This is clearly demonstrated by your absence from this foum. Casual viewer, at best.

Your posting history, and what you post about, speaks volumes as to your interests - and it ain't college ball.
