He turned down a 3 year 15 million dollar deal which was ridiculously generous. I'm thinking his next offer might have Golden Arches on it. What do you think?

He never will play here next year. One of the worst defensive backs I have ever seen. Can't watch anyone.....

Reminds me of Deal or No Deal. His next offer will be much lower. He should have taken the DEAL!

Exactly. I don't think he'll even be in the NFL next year. So he couldn't feed his daughter off of 5 million a year so let's see how far he can stretch $0. Probably not as far as the guy he's covering can stretch the field by my guess

Default But What Happened to Him?

He had a very good year last year, so what happened? Is he injured? How can you be good one year and stink the next?

I think teams are carrying more DBs than in the past because of the way the game has changed, so chances are he will still be in the NFL.

He was decent last year; not great, but decent. If he can return to that level over the remainder of this season, the Ravens just might keep him, but it ceratinly won't be for the original offer of $15 million.

I wouldn't say he had a very good year last year. He is just being exposed more this year since the Ravens are weaker up front.

He was alright last year when we actually had some semblance of a pass rush but now that we have none at all he's absolutely terrible. And Jimmy Smith isn't a whole lot better

He'll end up going to a team like the Bills or Panthers.

I think he's about as talented from a business perspective as he is defending the pass.

One day, he'll open his wallet and say, whoa, where'd that $15M go and slap himself on the head. Idiot.

Still waiting on the call from the banker. I'm guessing his next offer will be something slightly south of 3 yrs, 15 mil.

Some team will be dumb enough to give him a deal based on the reputations of Ravens defense of yore. Remember the Az Cardinals handing Dwayne Starks a boatload of cash? I recall the 49ers handing Antonio (3rd and long) Langham a big contract and he stunk it up there too. Let's hope he goes and plays for the Browns.

Maybe the Ravens can give him some of the money Boldin has been stealing from them since he signed here.

How is Boldin stealing money? He didn't hold the Ravens hostage to get his contract. They made a trade to acquire him and when the ball is thrown his way 9 times out of 10 he catches it.

Because Boldin sucks. He is old, slow and UNPRODUCTIVE. He can't get open, can't separate and drops the ball when it matters most ie. the Pitt playoff game he choked and dropped the winning TD pass costing Baltimore a trip to the Super Bowl.

He is as bad as any contract Ozzie signed...unless Boldin's contract only requires him to show up and produce against teams under .500 or from Ohio.

I think it was not Bolden who dropped that pass, you need to be sure of your facts.

I think you need to pay attention. It was Boldin. Another old slow has-been TJ Houshmenzedeh also dropped one and that where you 'mis-remembering' or 'have no idea what I am talking about' may lie.

It is amazing to me that every receiver the Ravens get has this "separation" problem. Hmmm. We just can't get that guy that gets open by a mile. Maybe if our QB could anticipate a little and throw the ball to a spot (ahead not behind) of the receiver, we'd see a lot more yards after catch slant type plays. We don't see them much because we can't execute. Boldin is a fine possession receiver. Nobody we get at receiver is any dam good these days.
