And as one of these lazy, incompetent government employees testified in the initial investigation, money was not the reason for the refusal. I make this clear because people will rightfully claim that Republicans voted against increased funding for Embassy security. The funding was not the issue in this case.
Happy Hour start early in the Islands today flyboy?

I'm not blaming the Republicans for anything to do with "funding", I am blaming them and Fox News for playing political football with dead Americans in the run-up to the election and for McCain and his weasley sidekick swift-boating Susan Rice!

Petraeus (a Republican) sunk himself by boinking his biographer and acting like a teenager on his email and Rice was swift-boated by McCain for political reasons hoping to get John Kerry to be nominated in the hope that Scott Brown could win his seat.

But coincidence or whatever, both had ties to Benghazi. We shall see what Clinton has to say.

No coincidence at all my friend, just the facts of the situation.

When will our alleged President weigh in as to what he knew, when he knew it and why no action was taken to save American lives. It would also be interesting to hear from the surviviors.

The survivors were Covert CIA agents conducting clandestine operations. Are you really naive enough to think that they will come forward and tell you that they were caught with their pants down and its the Presidents fault for not adequately defending them?

Conspiracy theories. I'm sure Obama will in the end use EP to hide the truth from the Americans.

What's the point in that, no one bothered to listen to the survivors from that other incident, what was it called now... oh yeah, I remember "USS Liberty.

President Johnson was still in office when this took place.

At 0800 hrs, 8 June, 1967, eight Israeli recon flights flew over 'Liberty,' which was flying a large American flag. At 1400 hrs, waves of low-flying Israeli Mystere and Mirage-III fighter-bombers repeatedly attacked the American vessel with rockets, napalm, and cannon. The air attacks lasted 20 minutes, concentrating on the ship's electronic antennas and dishes. The 'Liberty' was left afire, listing sharply. Eight of her crew lay dead, a hundred seriously wounded, including the captain, Commander William McGonagle.

As I said earlier Flyboy, you are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts.

You seem to be the only one disputing that it was the CIA using the Mission in Benghazi and not the State Department who had vacated the building some weeks earlier because of the security concerns?

Still can't bring yourself to using Diplomatic Facility I see. Now it's the Mission. You just can't bring yourself to toe the party line can you?

Okay, if your argument is word-games rather than a reasoned debate, so be it. We will call it whatever you want, vacated Consulate, vacated Facility or vacated mission? But regardless of what you call the building you can't get away from the word "vacated"! And there is the crux of the matter "vacated Buildings don't need defending, they just need somebody to water the plants and keep the landscaping in shape? Do think that is what the Ambassador might have been doing there?

And I provide you a link to show where you were wrong in calling it a consulate, and you get all pissed off. And why, Diplomat Facility doesn't fit with your CIA mission theory? Is your belief in "your party can do no wrong" starting to crack? I believe you and many others are blindly following a master of manipulation of people and PR. You have to admit, he does have that trusting demeanor about him. That should be the first flag of caution for most people who have been around for awhile.

Are you still out there as the only one not acknowledging that it was the CIA using the facility and not the State Department?

You are about 3 months too late my friend and have a lot of catching up to do before you can be taken seriously on the subject.

Alright, I'm throwing up the truce flag on this and let us wait for the full investigation to answer a few questions.

Now on to something more amiable, what do you think about Boeing's new weapon?

Useful, but it'll never replace the nuclear option, it just doesn't make a big enough bang, leave a big enough hole, and kill enough people.

And that's the beauty of it. Silent but very deadly. Without all the blood and carnage.

Only if you want to 'kill' computers and electronics... not much good against a Kalashnikov, grenade or RPG.

Definitely the way of the future. We went from Nuclear to biological and chemical so that we could just kill people while keeping the buildings and infrastructure of a country in tact. Now we have a weapon that leaves buildings, infrastructure and people in tact and just renders whole countries without communication and power to the point that they cannot operate.

    Makes sense to me.

So, let's take over the UK then.

Not much of a tourist spot, I'll grant ya. But we'd still be better off without all that limey complaining from across the pond...
