It seems like technicalities (along with proper English) are not strong points with you. I predicted 95 wins and the O's in the playoffs and they won 96 and made the playoffs.

Would you at least acknowledge that my brilliant predictions were far better than our unimaginative colleagues who predicted the O's would win less than 70 games in 2012?

Looking to the future, the O's go 84-78 in 2013 and miss the playoffs.

The O's only won 93, where are you getting 96?

I've given you props. Your prediction was much better than mine. But with the sheer amount that you brag about it, one would think it was perfect. It wasn't.

And as the others said, the Orioles won 93 games and then won 3 in the playoffs.

Golly Gee (as we used to say in Texas), I predicted the O's would be in the playoffs and win 95 games in 2012. They won 96. Why is that so difficult to grasp? I'm starting to understand why you and weird-O were so far off in your own predictions.

Please follow along closely - in 2013, the O's go 84-78 and miss the playoffs. Since they're not in the playoffs, that means the 84 wins will be in the regular season.

Now, do you understand the difference between 2012 and 2013?

Still pretty spry for a seasoned citizen. I'll probably retire in ten years or so but right now I'm too indispensable.

When I retire, I'll go into baseball predictions full time. There's so much to be taught in that field.

Playoff wins don't count on your record. They won 93 so your prediction was a little off

Where has all the humility gone? Should someone who predicted only 65 wins be lecturing on what was intended in a brilliant prediction of 95 wins? Golly gee (as we used to say in Texas).

have you seen his other season predictions? they're all 95 wins.

he brags about it because he finally lucked up and accidentally got something right. this prediction is the highlight moment of his entire life. this is it for him, this was his greatest accomplishment.

when you think about it in that context, you can sort of sympathize and understand why he's still boasting about it

From the perspective of child psychology, it's understandable why you, weird-O and Ivanbalt band together to criticize my brilliant prediction. It's not unusual for young'ens (English slang) to band together to put down the star of the class.

Here's your hint for the O's record in 2013 - 84-78 and no playoffs. Pass the word to the others in your trio.

Yes, I did it for Ken's sake - see post 54. I'm trying to show him that even a 115 year old like me can be "hip."

    How's my slang coming along?

You don't need a gang to get money from me. Just ask for it politely.

After 10+ years of Travis Moon's ridiculous predictions, and it looks like he's gone, we have Hector swooping in to save the day, picking up where his mentor left off. It never ends!
