    Default Deangelo Hall

Just when I think you couldn't be a bigger POS you prove me wrong.

PG County is where you belong.

I don't know what the PG county thing means other than something racist but I wish they would cut him.

PG county is a sheethole. The Redskins play in PG county. Race has nothing to do with it.

I live in Prince Georges county and its not what morons like Brohan and bawlmer say it is.

Keep your comments to the player and not the area.

I have no idea how he even came to that conclusion, but it sure is funny have a fan of the Redskins call someone racist.

Funny, another one of your banal comments you can't support with any facts what-so-ever.

As a white guy raised in PG County (between 66-86 when it was predominantly white) I get what he was trying to say. Seriously if people are honest about it the county has always been viewed as full of trouble makers. I heard it all the time growing up when I told anyone where I was from. Especially those from Monkey County as we called them. Thats Montgomery County BTW, is that racist too?

Anyway having seen how DH acted yesterday once again reminds me why I am glad Rex is no longer with the Ravens. It's how they would act more than a few times while he was the DC.

Anyone who thinks this guy is great does not know football that well he is far from great and is not worth the trouble.

Also if that were to be the case, no Ravens player would ever be ripped on this site and I think it's safe to say that plenty have been. Try again with something else.

Pollard was seen as a dirty player who got, at the time, a league record $50,000.00 for a bad hit. As soon as he became a Raven, he became the best thing since sliced bread, and "played like a Raven". And had Hines Ward ever became a Raven, it would have been the same thing.

Than it should be real easy to produce a post/thread of someone trashing Pollard while he was a Texan and someone loving him as a Raven.

    Let's see it mouth.

I don't ever remember or recall anyone here saying Pollard was a dirty player. I didn't even know of the guy untill he signed as I don't follow the NFL that close.

As far as Ward goes, untill you can show where that happened here once before with a supposed "dirty" player that argument is nothing more than an appeal to possibility, a logical fallacy.

Just one more thing. No matter how much time I spend surfing the net and checking out message boards, I will never understand how ppl like to go to sites of something they don't like just to say so. It's so odd to me that one would want to spend their time on something they don't like.

Comparing Hall to some other great Redskins corners:

Deion ran his mouth and shut down his side of the field.

Darryl Green was quiet and shut down his side of the field.

DeAngelo Hall runs his mouth and does not.

Bernard Pollard makes headlines for hitting guys too hard in a league that is unfortunately slowly changing to where someday "hard hits" will be taken out of the game altogether. I agree, Hines Ward would have been adored as a Ravens player. I always respected how Ward played the game, and at the same time, took great pleasure in seeing guys like Johnson and Lewis put him on the sidelines for the final minutes of games in his last season. The Ravens probably would have beaten the Steelers 2 or 3 more times through the early / mid 00s if Ward wasn't getting in the head of Chris McAlister and company.

Hall has spent much of his career letting his God complex (same thing that made Ben R. such a Richard Cranium until lately, maybe) affect how he dealt with everyone and everything around him, on and off the field.

Personally, I think the difference is this... while we tend to like / dislike the PLAYER based on his uniform... guys like Pollard and Ward leave behind a trail of teammates and coaches that will say they loved working with them, regardless of how the fan world views them. A guy like Hall seems to leave behind a trail of former teams, coaches, and teammates that aren't sad to see him go.

If you respected how Hines Ward played then you must have a low level of respect for the game. Yeah sure he played hard but trying to injure guys cost him several rungs in the respect meter.

I'll never forget him telling Chris Kemoateu in the 2010 playoff game against the Ravens that they didn't need the personal foul penalty he received after he went head hunting against Dawan Landry a full 3 seconds after the play was over. I laughed at this hypocrite trying to teach control and decorum when he made a living off of being dirty.

In the NBA retired players to this day hate Bill Laimbeer for his dirtiness. Despite all of the dancing and TV gigs he has his legacy will be one of a self inflicted lack of respect.

    Bull s h i t

Pollard was questioned because he went low against the golden boy which cost Brady the season. He was knocked down by the LT and in an effort to get to Brady lunged at his legs. Bad hit but not done with the intention of injuring Tom. People did not think he was dirty player.

He made a hit on Wes Welker but what got Wes hurt was that his foot was planted in Reliant stadium turf not because Pollard hit him square on the knee.

As for your Ward comment, again I call BS. People would've been lukewarm to him wearing purple and would've been icy towards him taking cheap shots like he did throughout his career.

You really think you know Ravens fans and something about football but you really don't know s h i t.

Go root for the Colts like you did two years ago.

I would expect you to disagree because your a Steeler ball washer(that's your team so its fine). Just because I don't respond like you doesn't mean that my viewpoint is less.

Your boy was a dirty player. Its pretty cut and dried.
