If Harbaugh wants to attach himself to Cam

When are you guys going to talk about the O line and how we are getting bowled over, no one can do anything with that! The O line has needed some gelling for 3 years now.

I've been saying that for years. But good OC's game plan the best they can around the weaknesses. Cameron game plans right into the teeth of it.

What game were you watching? Joe won the game with a winning drive. The rhythm gets lost because Cameron has no clue how to devise a coherent, 4 quarter game plan.

I'm watching the same game I have been watching for the last year or so. The game where Flacco goes from looking like he might break the record for consecutive pass completions to the game where it looks like he couldn't hit the locker room door if he he were ten feet from it. No argument on Cameron, I agree he should have been fired after last year. But you can't ignore the fact that Flacco goes through periods where he looks like he has no clue out there. I'm not trying to bash him, I think he is a good QB, but he really goes through some terrible streaks and that's not all Cameron's fault.

Agreed. The O-line is not that good, but other QB's have lived with that reality for years. Very few teams have an O-line that is a brick wall against the D all the time. It's up to the OC and QB to devise ways to deal with those inadequacies because they aren't going away anytime this year.

To me, it's impossible to separate out Cameron's inconsistency from Joe's inconsistency. And it starts with Cameron, not Joe. Joe has done the best with what he's had to work with, and it's been an uphill battle from the start. It's obvious that there's a disconnect between Cameron and Flacco, and that's just a bad situation, any way you slice it. So to place the blame, as a number of posters do, on Joe, is just plain wrong, IMO.

Complaining about Cameron isn't going to change anything so just stop. I feel the same way but I'm not going to complain about it, it's not going to change anything so why complain?

So the general consensus of the forum is that Cameron and Flacco don't gel.
Our Offensive line is pitiful.
1st downs percentage......just pathetic.
There's more but why belabor the point.

We've been all through this with Cavenaugh. He had no imagination, neither does Cameron. Cameron is far worse because he has the talented players. Bottom line......CAMERON GOES. We've got our talented receivers but he can't get them into the offensive scheme. He's relegated Pitta to the ex role of Todd Heap....blocking. Cameron doesn't see the middle of the field, just the sideline bomb. No slants, no play pass and now he's gotten rid of the drop off's to Rice. If Harbaugh doesn't wake them up, then like Billick......SHOW HIM AND CAMERON THE DOOR!

Both are inconsistent and together it can be a clusterfvck or it can be like the first 2 drives we saw when the team is moving and playing well. Cam's playcalling can be both good and bad at times, as is Joe's play good and bad at times. Sometimes it's the players simply not executing, not blocking, dropping passes or Joe being inaccurate or making bad decisions/audible. Sometimes it's Cam being too predictable, not giving Rice enough touches, not have good play designs, pass protections, routes, screens, runs ect.

Inconsistent describes the Ravens in one word.

I'm not saying that Joe is perfect by any means. But from what I've seen, if you put Joe with a better OC, a real NFL O-line, and even decent/consistent WRs, you'll definitely see a better Joe. Cameron has hit his ceiling; it's been that way his whole career; and to keep downing Joe because of Cameron is both unfair and flat out wrong.
