Winning is good; the Browns are bad

I know I'm going to rain all over the "We won the game" fans, and I'm usually in that group myself, but this really was not the Ravens game I was hoping to see coming out of the bye week. The defense was not too bad, but that offense is just embarrassing. There's not too many games you're going to win with three good drives. All those 3-and-outs put too much pressure on the D.

The Browns QB has some talent, but the guy is way over his head right now. And the coach should really be fired. Going for it on 4th down deep in your own territory with four minutes to go in the game, especially when the Ravens offense was mostly useless in the second half, was insane. And didn't they have a TD taken off the board due to an illegal procedure penalty, or did I just dream that as I dozed due to lack of football by the Ravens? If they had been playing a real football team they would have been in trouble.

The issue was especially stark when I watched the Steelers vs. the Giants in the next game, two real football teams the Ravens will have to deal with. I have this theory that they tend to play down to their competition, so maybe they will get up for those games. I hope this is true.

They had those two great drives to start the game and then seemed to give up until the score was 14-15.

I keep hearing how the Browns made adjustments and were stopping the run game. But at that point doesn't that mean you have established the run? Then would it not be good to go to more play action? If the other team adjusts then you need to adjust to their adjustments.

Post game Harbaugh said "yea they were putting an extra man in the box". OK so does Flacco not see this and change the play? All the criticizm about not using Rice was valid, so use him, but do it properly. Plus they were getting a lot of yards on the edges. Rice's speed. Up the middle was being stuffed so call the pass, fake the handoff, then if needed check down to Rice. Once he gets the ball like that he's dagerous.

Cam's inability to adjust is hurts as much as his crappy game plans.
