I think 11-5 is pretty realistic. But 12-4 is also possible. As is 13-3. I doubt 10-6 is realistic, but it could happen. 5 games is an eternity in the NFL. I forget which team it was a few years back that was 9-2 and I think finished 9-7. Stuff like that happens. But at this point, I'd say 11-5 is the best bet, all things considered.

(And to the person who asked if the Washington game isn't really a "home game" because of the close proximity, I'd have to say no to that. 'Skins fans turn out en masse, and that's a huge stadium. I don't think it's anything like the comfy confines of M&T. But I still think the Ravens will win that one regardless.)

Who do you think they'll beat? The 'Skins?

    N/P.

HERE'S a "gut" feeling I just "got"...imagine the Ravens losing out, and the Jets winning out, and both teams ending up 9-7.

(Highly unlikely, but not impossible. I still remember the year the Steelers seemed TOTALLY out of it, and it would have required them to run the table, and they ALMOST did, except the Ravens swept them that year. So strange stuff DOES happen in the NFL. The Ravens have used up a lot of Karma so far this year...the next weeks will be very revealing. Today's game was a real slap in the face with reality.)

I voted 10-6 this morning figuring one win and I'm not sure about that. We could possibly lose out the rest of the way, given the way we played yesterday.

And watching the way the 'Skins played last night at FedEx Field...not sure the Ravens will have an answer for their offense. And their D looked like it was confusing Eli all night long. Imagine what it will do to the Ravens offense.
