If not, will men living with women as "domestic partners" be able to put them on their health insurance?? That would only be "fair"

It won't change a thing because MD already recognized marriages and civil unions from other states!!!!

Seems the logical thing is to grandfather in those who already receive benefits, and require all new employees to be married.

That's up to individual companies. Some already offer domestic partner benefits to opposite sex couples anyways.
