"We will forever be the UNITED STATES, God Bless These United States"![]()
I'm not a democrat, so I wouldn't know... nor do I assume any responsibility for them.
However, it seems to me that working (read; spending) to eliminate fraud and loopholes would go a long way, management wise. Realistic budgeting and Congressional cooperation wouldn't hurt either.
I really do not think our debt problems came about due to fraud and loopholes. But unfortunately, the bigger the government the more fraud is likely.
If you weren't born yesterday then I'm guessing you do have an idea how a true liberal would spend versus how a true conservative would.
I consider myself a "true" liberal, yet I manage my finances quite conservatively. I find that to be pretty generally true.
Even the former Socialist Bernie Sanders, when elected mayor of Vermont's biggest city, balanced the budget and greatly reduced fraud while running a pretty "liberal" show.
I know what you're getting at, but distain it as a strawman, produced in a feeble attemt to make a point.
I'm not talking about ones personal finances. We are talking about the US federal government. The platform of a true liberal Democrat is bigger government whereas the platform of a true conservative Republican advocates for smaller government. And that is not disputable.
