The amount of waste was hideous. How many diseases could have been cured with that money? Jobs created, roads built, etc etc. Americans are drawn to wasteful gestures but the billions spent this time leaves both sides speechless.

LOL what a little girl. You are a wasted sperm cell.
Ouch, looks like you're pulling out the big guns today. And I thought we were friends?

That money went into the economy instead of being hoarded. If it hadn't been spent on a failed campaign by our gullible elite it would have went into a Cayman's island account, not to jobs, roads, or medical research.

I agree... a total waste of precious resources.

Funny, the 1% cry like weaning babies when asked for tax, yet gleefully spend like drunken sailors in their bid to rule the roost.

And we ain't seen nothin' yet...

This was only the first election post Citizen's United.

The next one will cost even more, and the one after that even more.

    Unless it's stopped.

The 1% can't be trusted with the reins of government.
They need to be "busted" down to mere "voting citizen" status.
    One warm body, one vote.
No fair buying more just 'cause you're rich.

Adelson alone blew 54 million bucks for nothing...I feel bad....lol....

Tuesday, he emerged as arguably the single biggest loser of the campaign, financially speaking. In addition to investing in Gingrich and Romney, Adelson and his relatives donated to the U.S. House campaigns of Rep. Allan West of Florida and New Jersey Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, and the Senate runs of Virginia's George Allen, Florida's Connie Mack, and Texas's David Dewhurst. All lost.

I would certainly stay away from any Sands run casinos for a while..They will have to recoup this money somehow, so I'm thinking those machines will stop paying out for now..

Pretty crazy. I guess they'd rather flush the money down the toilet themselves.

Rove even suffered the indignity of being insulted on Twitter by the blustery Donald Trump, who had attended Romney's election night party here on Tuesday night, but left early after it was clear that Obama had won a second term.

"Congrats to @KarlRove on blowing $400 million this cycle. Every race @CrossroadsGPS ran ads in, the Republicans lost. What a waste of money," Trump tweeted, inaccurately. "

I never liked Karl Rove. Schived him from day one of the Bush Administration years. I wouldn't be sorry to see him fired from Fox.

Rove should of been your biggest advocate..Without him and his friends wallets, Romney does not come anywhere close to where he did in this election...

It was obvious who was REALLY running his campaign...
