Mt. Washington Tavern rises again
"A year and two days after fire destroyed the Mt. Washington Tavern, co-owner Rob Frisch and his three contractors toasted its rebuild with the first draughts from the bar.
Their goal was to reopen within a year, and they came as close as it gets.
Mt. Washington Tavern, which suffered from a two-alarm fire on Oct. 31, 2011, will have a soft opening Monday evening for family and friends. It will open to the public Tuesday for dinner and begin holding normal business hours Wednesday."
