    Default 47%

A lot was made of Romney's dismissive comments of 47% of the population.
He was wrong and I said at the time that it was a costly mistake and questioned if I could still vote for him.

Once Obama won we all expected a certain amount of gloating and bragging. Great. good for you. I actually voted for Obama so I guess I won too.

But that gloating has tuned into a protracted attack on the 47% that supported Romney. Basically we are still just about 50/50. Turn out and the old electoral college system tilted in the Democrats favor but we remain fractured down the middle.

When these petty little posters continue to be dismissive of 47% of the population, how are they any better?

Can you give examples? I'm not following you.

Oh...if you are saying that many posters overindulge in the same subjects ad nauseum, I definitely agree. But it goes both ways. I could show you a long list of right-wingers' threads too. I've just accepted that it is what it is. It is obvious that it won't change. I do like the threads that are based on truth though. There are many started here that are just made up BS.
