Looks like American bombs are going to drop from American planes while American tanks roll into Gaza and American missile defence systems defend America's 51st state.

And the funny thing is, Americans will wonder why they are not loved by the ROW.

I often wonder why I'm not loved by the cockroach that I stepped on today.

    Or perhaps, I don't

If that's the case, then the Hamas jihadis are beyond stupid with their terrorizing of Israel with endless rocket attacks.

In any case,, their admitted tactic of using woman and children as human shields must empower such stupidity.

    About time.

My neighbors send rockets into my yard and I'll sissy slap them into next week.

Well, I guess that would depend on the conditions under which you moved in. If you moved in next door, then started to erect an out-house of one corner of their yard, put your 72 Nova up on cinder blocks in another part of their yard, and let your mutt dig holes all over the place; all financed by (and therefore morally backed by) the richest people in the neighborhood, you'd be foolish not to expect some rockets.

By that logic, everyone here in the US should be expecting an attack from displaced Native Americans.

British Foreign Secretary William Hague issued a statement saying he is "gravely concerned" and calling on all sides to avoid civilian casualties. "Hamas bears principal responsibility for the current crisis. I utterly condemn rocket attacks from Gaza into southern Israel by Hamas and other armed groups. This creates an intolerable situation for Israeli civilians in southern Israel, who have the right to live without fear of attack from Gaza. The rocket attacks also risk worsening the plight of Palestinian civilians in Gaza, which is already precarious."

Israel says it has called thousands of residents in Gaza to warn them of strikes and dropped leaflets in Gaza warning Palestinian civilians to "avoid being present in the vicinity of Hamas operatives," the IDF said.

It also uses "roof knocking" -- targeting a building "with a loud but nonlethal bomb that warns civilians that they are in the vicinity of a weapons cache or other target. This method is used to allow all residents to leave the area before the IDF targets the site with live ammunition."

Israel goes out of it's way to warn innocent civilians to leave before strikes at military targets are going to take place. Hamas goes out of it's way to target civilians and hide it's rocket launchers among it's own civilians. It's not hard for anyone with half a brain to see who the true aggressors are. But then, prejudice and hatred will surely overcome logic and blame Israel for defending itself against unprovoked rocket attacks.

What does that have to do with a jihadist government whose Charter contains a mandate to kill Jews?

That's old US technology that we basically abandoned because it was unworkable. The internal clock has to be able to keep perfect time. It actually has to be more accurate than an atomic clock. That clock does not exist nor does anyone have the faintest idea of how to make it. It looks like the Israeli's haven't done any better with it. If the clock is off by even 0.0000001 second. The targeting system will take out the first 2 or 3 and miss every thing after that. Then you have to reset the clock and start all over again. The time lag is unavoidable.
Gee so now in addition to Constitutional law you are also an expert in rocket science.

Gen. Petraeus: Mr. President? Dave Petraeus.
PO: Dave! How're ya! Still dippin' from the broad well?
GP: Yeah, well, I just wanted t'thank ya again for takin' the heat off me with the whole Gaza episode.
PO: Hey, any time, bro'! Besides, your fellow Americans hate negative press about anything military.
    GP: Fellow ...?
PO: Oh, you know, Americans! Gee, Dave: people that AREN'T generals!
    GP: When did this happen?
PO: Anyway, take care, Dave! Anything else?
    GP: ...Who aren't generals?
PO: Geez, Dave! C'mon! People without adjutants & drivers! G'bye, Dave!

Democratically selected Hamas (Bushblundering) targets Jerusalem with the Muslim Brotherhood's Egypt (Obamablundering) coming out in support of Hamas.

Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip have launched a rocket on Jerusalem - the first time the holy city has been targeted from Gaza.

Egypt's leader has vowed to back Gaza in the face of "blatant aggression".
Israel's failure comes from following the idiotic lead of the US of fighting with both hands tied behind its back. That Hamas has been able to upgrade its arsenal is no surprise. That the ME should go up in flames during the rule of Peacey Prize is poetic justice.

That "half a brain" part is the key

They had the same legal and moral right as the Allies did when they partitioned Berlin after WWII. When one side loses a war, they lose control of their own destiny, at least temporarily. That's what happened to the former subjects of the Ottoman empire after WWI. Thus, we had the Balfour Declaration.

The bottom line, however, is that the Arabs refused the 1947 partition plan. In doing so, they rejected a chance for a nation and opted instead for ongoing strife and war. You also overlook the fact that Jews had inhabited these lands with Arabs for centuries. It's not like they suddenly showed up after WWII.

Damn Palestinians. It's not as if they've been given small pox blankets. They have their camps. Why can't they just be grateful?
