Default Hey gop, if you want to win a future presidential election, you might want to:

I can't take credit for this, but I do believe it. The GOP lost the election because of their anti-gay and anti-woman agenda (perceived or actual). They allowed their opponents to frame the debate and absolutely skewer the GOP with those two issues. I can't even begin to tell you how many of my peers who dislike Obama ended up voting for him because they saw Romney/Ryan as woman hating homophobes. There's hope for the GOP because many people still agree with their economic and foreign policy ideas, but until they start to become more libertarian on social issues they're going to continue losing elections.

    1. Run a candidate with some sliver of integrity.
2.Get on the side of science/reality and separate from religious fanatics.
    3. Stop demonizing Hispanics and actually work on immigration reform that helps the country.
    4. Realize that the #1 path to keep America on top is improved education. Schools and teachers need to be better, this is the biggest issue we are facing today. High paying jobs are available, we just lack the skills to fill them. It's pathetic that Exxon Mobil has to run an ad-campaign to tell people this.
    5. Drop the "other side just wants handouts" argument. As many republicans collect government aid as democrats and red states actually get more federal aid than blue states (1.46 per 1.00 paid for red states, 1.16 per 1.00 paid for blue states [2008])

This party is embarrassing because more than half of its members are so scientifically ignorant that they deny the fundamental theory of all life sciences.

For the record, I attend church (ok, not every time the doors are open) and believe in God, part of which is rendering unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is Gods's. Which to me says, keep it and politics apart.

Your argument makes sense. Of course, I'm on the outside looking in.
