Also, please forward this link to all of your friends who may be inclined to sign it. We need 150 signatures in order for the petition to become searchable.
Thats hilarious, you must be the one and only signer. Proposing secession is not sedition.

Would you threaten your friends with violence if they decided to dump you as a friend?

Since teachers in Md require a Masters, please show data that indicates biologists and/ or chemists (your examples), with "more academic background" than Md teachers, yet, are making less less than the starting teachers salary in this state.

There, I dumbed it down for you...good luck.
To be fair one does not require masters to start but to continue they need one. By year ten they need a masters although most have it earlier. so a tenth year masters teacher makes 55K in Harford county. Harford has lower teachers salaries so let him find his example!

Can I start a petition to mandate that we all get free ice cream sandwiches on Fridays?

Why the insult? Can't your arguments stand on their own without ad hominem attacks?
NO, you are insulting if you expect one to by that line of Malarchy! You just demonstrate you have zero respect for the work teachers do. I would rather you be honest like Dsoumner is about it than that double speak.

Isn't starting a petition advocating the prosecution of free speech a "subversion of the United States constitution", and thus sedition?

    Or is it free speech?

    I'm getting confused.

So what if I don't respect what teachers do? Sue me. We are free to respect or not respect anything and anybody, for now anyway. The fact is that I respect some teachers and not others. I judge that on an individual basis.

And yes, the course of studies to get an education degree is extremely easy, one of the easiest in higher education.

Yes, you are correct. I started it about 2 minutes ago.
I am absolutely serious about this. In fact, I’m just as serious as those who started all of the secession petitions.

No thanks, but I think I will go find where I can sign in support of the calls for secession.

"we petition the obama administration to forward a list to the FBI of all signers of State secession petitions and instruct it to prosecute them for sedition."

    Why?

There was a time that such talk would be deemed "treasonous".

Although to be honest, I could care less..it's nothing more than angry children, upset about the results of the election, wanting to take their ball from the playground. Actually, pretty ludicrous, if you ask me.

So what? I may very well think that they are idiots but they are well within their rights to be idiots and not have the FBI pay them a visit for being so. They have not broken any laws and they haven't threatened anyone.

One should not confuse government forcing itself onto others or collusion with government as what the actual private sector does.

So, you think the FBI would "pay them a visit" if they haven't done anything wrong? Just because they could?

Sounds like that would be a misuse of judicial authority and a waste of taxpayer money, to me?

I actually know someone who was paid a visit by the FBI despite the person having done nothing wrong -- and the person never again heard from them. So, yes, I think the FBI would pay a visit. Unless you think that if the FBI shows up the person is guilty of something.

And, again, to petition the government to hand over names of these people to the FBI is disgusting and worse than the other idiots.

...or, just maybe, possibly, could be, what if...they were paying your buddy a visit simply to question him to get information? Ya know, like the police do during the course of an "investigation".

    Just a thought.

Nevertheless, you honestly believe the FBI has the resources, time and interest to track down all these nut jobs...100,000's of thousands of them?? Really, you believe that? I think to do so would require that they took this petition seriously, AND, that they felt the signees had broken Federal law. I'm pretty confident that neither condition would apply. It's post-election sour grapes. It's fodder for sites like this...nothing more.

How do you sleep at night being so worried about the MAN come knocking on your door in the middle of the night?

Ummm, to quote one of your compatriots, Mr. Bland Food, maybe the folks organizing this counter petition are simply "patriots" trying to preserve the Union? Who knows?

I pass no judgement on their motives.
