    Default Chiefs / Steelers...

So the Chiefs have not led for one actual "played" second of a game this year. Their only win came in OT in a sudden-death situation, so the game was over the instant they scored. Fascinating stuff...

Now if you're like me and take solace in the fact that all things are inevitable... do the Chiefs lead at any point in the game tonight? I say yes!

Hali has two sacks and a forced fumble leading to a TD... Charles goes for 140 with a couple TDs... Brandon Flowers takes one the other way for 6...

For some strange reason, the Chiefs usually play Pittsburgh tough so I'm not expecting a blow-out like yesterday's Ravens game. If Charles can break a couple of long runs early and KC can establish something without turning the ball over, it might very well be close to the end. Of course, I do think the Steelers will win the game but my gut tells me it will be competitive.

Raining and cold. Always a chance that could have an impact.

Simple win is fine with me.

You know never know. The steagles lost to the god awful Raiders.

It's cold, rainy and their pansy wr's might not want to play.

If the game was in KC, I might say it is a possibility. Steelers have occassionaly let lesser teams hang around on the road. But in Pittsburgh against a team that might only throw the ball 15 times, I don't see it. Maybe close for a half, but Pittsburgh pulls away in the 2nd half.

Watching this game so far reminds me of how lucky we were to have a day like we did yesterday. Rain is the worst weather to sit in watching a game.

    KC intent on self-destructing.

Chiefs couldn't beat the Steelers if you spotted them 10 points.

The one thing that KC is making crystal clear is that you can't just run the ball against the Steelers and expect to win. You have to mix up the runs and passes. KC started to do that in the beginning, then blew it on that 3rd and goal. They had the p/a working but didn't pull the trigger. And from that point on they just ground it down to a halt.

Pittsburgh gets a gift call on the "holding" call after the KC TD (taking the TD off the scoreboard) and then KC misses the field goal. Pathetic.

Another TD will come back against KC (on the defensive fumble recovery). That was an incomplete pass. The refs blew that call.
