I agree 1,000%.
These are times of SEVERE austerity. The City claims it doesn't have enough money for SCHOOLS, fcol! Yet they can FIND money for an inanimate object that serves no function that addresses the REAL-TIME needs of its current citizens. I'm Black, but I'm not stupid. That concrete can wait. Baltimore even found $$$ to throw away on a stupid race, smh.

this is a sensible position. The city is in the shape it's in as a result of the "lost collective minds" of too many citizens. Some of the decisions that are made and either tacitly or overtly approved by those citizens sometimes defies understanding. The statue of a man who in reality deserves nothing other than a one day celebration of his attainment of a position that so many celebrate, pay for but requires nothing from it. How strange.
