    Default officials in Chiefs game

I have never seen an officiating crew single handedly win a game for a team. Even the commentators were scratching their head. That holding call was really bad. 50 yards in penelties on one drive. Even on the chiefs scoring drive they blew a call. PATHETIC!!!!!!

It was REALLY REALLY bad, like, reminscent of some of the Ravens screwjobs. The holding on Brandon Albert for Bowe's TD was ridiculous, dude had the outside of his jersey for like a split second not even close to the play.

The offensive PI that almost ended the Chiefs final drive in regulation was curious to say the least. That brief hand-fighting happens on every play. To call it at all is out of the ordinary. To call it there, in that situation... hmmm.... I'm sure Josh Wilson would have appreciated that call in ATL a few years ago, when he got run over on the game-winning TD.

It was one of the worst officiated games I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot, especially ones involving the Steelers.

KC would still have won by 10 if they hadn't emptied an entire clip into their own feet. A group end zone dance that rescues the Steelers from a 4th and 7 on their own 26 was just the high point from this madcap group of "players".

That might be the most irritating thing that came out of it last night... maybe I'm just missing it, but I don't recall seeing ANY other instance of a team getting a 15 yarder this year because of a group celebration penalty. I guess there MUST be some, but I swear I haven't seen one. Seems like the message has gotten to all 31 other teams... if you're going to put on a stupid show, do it by yourself... everybody else stand back and watch for a few seconds.

The Chiefs must be bat-crap dysfunctional. 1-7 and you're taunting a guy with the ball as you run to the endzone to take an extremely rare lead? You're doing two-man choreographed sack dances? Didn't they basically get away with that one without penalty? The Ravens did away with "the bomb" celebration after defensive scores like a decade ago.

Looked to me that they were in the tank for the Iron Poopie fans. Maybe to avenge their embarrassing departure from the playoffs last year?

Without a doubt the worst I've ever seen. KC is an undisciplined bunch of idiots but if there ever was a game where the striped shirts determined the outcome this was it. The NFL wants the Steelers in the Big Picture because when it all comes down to it, ratings and $$$$ are all that matters. The Steelers lose that game last night and go into next Sunday night two back of the Ravens, that Sunday night game loses its punch. Homer calls all night, just a coincidence right? Sure!

You don't see it called because MOST teams are smart enough to NOT DO IT.

    Just sayin...

That's sure the way it looked to me. I even saw the ref move the ball forward on that critical 3rd and short near the end of the 4th quarter. Maybe it was innocent enough, but it sure looked hokey to me.

It is disturbing when it is so obvious what is going on. Even "Chuckie" commented several times about the way the game was going. If true that the refs kept the Steelers in the game, then we're all wasting our time - and money - watching this crap.

The crummy officiating aside, what is Romeo still coaching for? He obviously stinks as his track record dictates.

Well...he was interim coach, then he must have gotten grandfathered in. He's a horrible head coach. I don't know about a DC. He seemed to be pretty good at that. But as a head coach, he's a total dud.

Romeo is a heck of a nice guy but a lousy head coach. Like Cam Cameron, he should remain a coordinator.

He was really biting his tongue. But you could tell it was getting harder and harder for him to keep quiet the deeper they got into the 4th quarter. And that OPI was a joke. WRs and DBs fight with their hands ALL THE TIME. And at such a critical time in the game. (It makes me wonder if they finally got rid of the replacement refs not so much because they sucked, but because they needed the "trained" refs back to pull chit like this.)

Romeo could at least BE a decent coordinator. Cameron will never be a decent coordinator.

Have to disagree with you about the OPI. I played safety in college. Handfighting is fine and works both ways. A push-off as in that case is extremely hard for a defender to overcome as it throws you off stride and should be called.
