Default Big Brother UK: 8 million children recorded on massive secret database

    http://rt.com/news/children-at-risk-data-522/

"A newly uncovered clandestine computer network, known as the ‘One System,’ can reportedly share children’s personal details across different UK agencies, including age, sex, address and their school behavior records – all without parents ever knowing.
    ...
This information can then be shared with numerous agencies, including the police, the NHS and child protection units and charities, all without parental consent."

One of the commentators made mention that they were informed about the database when registering their child's birth and asked if they wanted to participate.

I've put RT in the same category as InfoWars as far as a source of information goes always try to corroborate anything they publish. (Although anymore it seems to be true for any news source.)

It's really not the database that is troubling. Collecting data that can be used to improve people's lives is usually a good thing to do. But it's the sharing of the information with others organizations without parental knowledge that I find troubling. And you're right about InfoWars. AJ is a loon...however...broken clock, twice a day. After all, there was once this annoying little web site called Drudge until they decided to go with a story that other, major, news outlets turned down: Monica Lewinsky.
