The Ravens couldn't be playing the Steelers in Pittsburgh at a better time. With the Steelers playing a hard fought game (?) into overtime on Monday night while the Ravens had been rested since Sunday afternoon.

Plus, the Ravens were able to rest some of their starters while the Steelers were in it until the last play of the game and had some key injuries.

There you go. Well spoken. It is these litttle things that make the difference in the NFL. This is a very tough league. These are the intangibles. Nice job on the awareness of the scheduling. Clearly advantage Ravens at Pittsburgh.

Important Point: Ravens released Dennis Dixon about a week ago. Steelers could sign him and start him against the Ravens, or at least get some valuable information from him about our schemes. Ravens should find a way to sign him again - at least for a few weeks!

He just puts anything out there for people to talk about him. Let's say Pitt wins he can then say see I told you. If the Ravens win he will find excuses for what he said.

Ravens are not intimidated by Steelers, nor are the Steelers intimidated by the Ravens.

I just hope the that neither team wins on some phoney improperly called penalty.

For years the real problem in many NFL games is that refs seem to want to be part of the game.

The one good thing from the Ravens' perspective of playing in Pittsburgh is that I would not expect them to have that "on-the-road" lethargy that they have shown lately. They should be pumped up. Hopefully not too pumped up. But this for the Ravens is just like a playoff, and they have done well on the road in playoff games.

Ben has been officially ruled out for Sunday. Leftwich will start vs the Ravens.

Overall, that is obviously a stupid statement. Flacco is much better than Leftwich or else Leftwich would have a starting job somewhere. But this is the tale of two Flacco's. At home a QB that can duel with Brady, Manning and Brees. On the road he has not looked a whole lot better than what Bayless is saying. Depends which Flacco shows up. Certainly no Roethlisberger makes the Steelers ripe to be beaten if the Ravens come to play.
