    Default Obama tours New York

Obama said in front of a church devastated by Hurricane Sandy in New York that ""We've got some work to do and I want you to know I'm here to do it." Here's more, from the pool report:

Potus toured a street with many damaged homes. He talked with locals in front of a home whose front was partially missing and next to another that caved in on itself. The water was a few hundred feet away.

"We've got some work to do and I want you to know I'm here to do it," Potus said to a crowd outside a boarded up brick church called "St. George Malankara Orthodox Church of India Inc."

I'd be willing to bet the only reason that shiftless, bumbling buffoon Barry Obama was anywhere near New York was because Michelle wanted another "fly-by-date" using Air Force One.

Default Sandy victim to Barry Obama: Where have you been?

Obama, touring parts of New York City slammed by Hurricane Sandy, was chided by a girl for ignoring the disaster.

As the president waded through a supply center, a girl who was waiting for goods told a reporter, "We need help--he should of been here a long time ago," according to the White House pool report.

My God! Even little girls think that Barry Obama is little more than a shiftless, bumbling failure.

"should of"?? Do public schools even teach contractions anymore. It's "should've"... a contraction for "should have".

Some of these writers for these papers nowadays leave much to be desired...

Nor reading comprehension. The poster's headline posits that the girl spoke to the President, which she didn't.

The posters headline is the article headline. But I agree, the article headline is inaccurate if the girl didn't actually speak to the President.

I thought Bloomberg said he didn't need/want the President to come in the initial aftermath of the storm? That it would be too disruptive? Did Cuomo follow his lead?
To retaliate in kind would do nothing but intensify the existence of hate in the universe. Along the way of life, someone must have sense enough, and morality enough, to cut off the chain of hate. ~~ MLK

Just what was he supposed to do?
Sort of like last summer after the storm when tv interviewed a lady in baltimore whining about her electric being off. She kept saying "the mayor need to do something". Well, I really doubt the mayor knew how to reconnect her electric.
