Wonder if Papa John's will raise prices anyway if they lose the class action lawsuit over text spam filed in 2010...........never tried their pizza anyway.
Please, please, please try to tell me that this twenty cent price increase is going to cause someone to think twice about ordering a pizza (or hang up the phone and dial his competition) so that we can all have a good laugh at your expense.
Had they not brought it to everyone's attention no one would have even noticed.
Depends on other factors, as well. Such as quality of product and service.
$0.20 difference isn't going to significantly factor into most people's decision. I can easily shop around in my own area, and find the price SPREAD of pizza (for the same size and toppings) to be in excess of $1.50.
If I had pizza every day, for an entire year, the added 20 cents would up my yearly food bill by $73. My wife saves much more than that - each week - by clipping out coupons and using them at our local super market.
Finally, if 20 cents is a big financial hardship, probably shouldn't be eating pizza, anyway. I'd stick to a diet of rice and beans....much cheaper, and probably better for you.
Isn't he half black that grew up entirely white?

Well all I can do is to decide where to spend my dollars. And, I will not spend them at a restaurant, convenience store, pizza carry-out, or any other merchant who would rather turn his pricing policy into a political platform, than contribute and do their part in trying to put the muscle back into this country. Bye-bye Pappa John, Royal Farms, etal. Said bye-bye to Denny's a long time ago. Haven't walked up to one of their cash registers in years, since they screamed bloody murder that it was their right to be racist in their policies. Man,... that was back when they called themselves SAMBO's. Man, imagine identifying your business with a name like that and thinking it's OK! LOL!
Thank your phony messiah Obama and his party for this f-up. Spare me the phony line about people going to the ER instead of the primary care doctor because they don't have insurance.
They go there because they know that they cannot be turned away, per federal law. Most of the ones who do this are illegals and they've been coached to do this by the democrat groups who help them break the law and stay in the US. Folks like La Raza (the race) and MALDEF are a few examples.
If the slip-and-fall trial lawyers who own your party were not suing doctors and hospitals out of business, health care would be more accessible and affordable. Now, because of this government hijacking of health care, you'll have less accessibility, lower quality and higher costs.
So Forbes said the actual cost would 3.4 cents per pizza. I would glady pay 3.4 cents more a pizza so their employees could have health insurance. I am sure most other people would as well. I usually tip the driver 4 bucks when I order papa johns and they charge a dollar delivery charge. In the overall cost I don't think 3.4 cents is ging to hurt anyone.
No I didn't! I was always under the impression it was the other way around. I do remember the racial fighting of the era, and I do remember signs being changed on Sambo restaurants already on the ground. Maybe that's where my confusion came from. Still, good to know,... thanks!
