In the "Predictions" thread, most had Westminster as at least a 3-TD favorite

    Great atmosphere at Ruby Field.

Westminster by 30, Kern throws 5 TDs.

Best passing offense I've ever seen, I'd be surprised if Sherwood stays close.

By the way, Martinsburg has destroyed everyone else on their schedule this year including Henry out of VA. Westminster is the real deal.

They also got their starting free safety back last week; he rehabbed a torn ACL in only five months.

    But that offense is sick.

I knew nothing about Sherwood. Evidently they're a power running team, but their running game has been stuffed and they've pretty much given up on it. Basically, they've only moved the ball because of pass interference penalties. I think Westminster's defense is very underrated.

Sorry, you didn't specify "in the first half". Fail.

Please get real! Sherwood barely beat a Catonsville team that lost to HEREFORD 56-12! They very well could be the best PUBLIC SCHOOL team in the state.

I said may be the best. Sherwood did play Dmass and Quince orchard tight. Gilman has more talent but Westminster's system appears devastating. I am complimenting the owls not bashing Gilman

I know you're not. But this score isn't a shock. This isn't the Sherwood of old.

Westminster scores again, Kern's 6th TD pass of the night, now leads 48-7 midway through the 3rd qtr. He now has 61 TD passes on the year.

    The running clock begins.......

We left the game with Westminster up 33-0. Westminster is the best public school in the state and would be the best matchup for a top private.

It's not all Kern either, Westminster has a RB who is close to 150 yds on the ground tonight as well.

They lead 55-14 at the end of 3.

Seems like they are on their way to a monster matchup against Wise! If it happens it will be a major contrast in styles. A big time passing offense against a top notch defense. I just don't know if Wise can score enough points to win the game.
