Kyle played in the first 5 games. Defense and QB/WR. The Offense looked terrible against kenwood and parkville when he wasn't under center. I just want to give him praise because he is an elite player that not many know about. What were you guys thinking not to have him at QB?? I don't know to praise or question your thinking. It all worked out in the end and thats all that matters. Congratulations on beating Franklin.

I never said he didn't play the first 5 games. I said he wasn't the FULL-TIME QB the first five games. The reason he wasn't at QB is he wanted to play WR and had been working at WR all off-season. The starting QB (at the time) had a really good summer, lead us to a come from behind win over Douglass in Week 1 and despite the offense looking terrible at times, we were 5-0 going into the Franklin game with Kyle playing more WR than QB. The starting QB sustained a concussion during the Franklin game and Kyle became the full time QB again. He has said to us that the move to WR helped him become a better QB. Like you said, it all worked out in the end.

Severn QB/K Ben Priddy (committed to Georgetown as a K) hits a 50-yd as time expires in the 1st half.

St. Frances leads 18-12 at the half.

Another thing to keep in mind about Priddy hitting a 50-yd FG: the game is being played at Towson, meaning he hit a 50-yd FG in a stadium with college-width goalposts, which are a good 6+ feet narrower than HS ones.

They were gashing MM all night with their 2 headed TB Reggie Ellis and #3 (where the hell did he come from?) They should have run those 2 all night, but they continued to try and throw despite the obvious. Thier QB couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat last night. He just was not on last night but they kept pumping the ball down field. Franklin could have won it all this year, they were that talented. Again, props to Reg and his crew. Their qb who has been there for 4 years was a man last night. Best of luck in the states.
I agree with alot of what you said, but please don't throw the Qb under the bus his play had really no effect on the outcome of the game it was clearly the lack of Franklin not running the ball in the second half.three times inside the 25 and not producing 1 point and up 28-14 in the third quarter and having MM demoaralized KICKING to Mike Jones and he taking it inside the 5 is what really sealed Franklins fate. Those guys had a great year and played lights out and I wanna say it was may pleasure to watch all those guys this year. Reggie Ellis, Marquis Ellis,Malik Jackson,Shac Melvin Jackson Thorton,Steven Smothers(Optimus Prime),Cederic Amadi,Darius Hinton(Great Game),Maurice McFadden and Jordan and Jacq Adams Congratulations on a Great year and I an Honored the Twins had a chance to play with you guys, you all taught them alot and I'm proud of all of you.

    St. Frances wins 30-25

Hopefully this will quash the "they could compete in the A Conference talk" for a while

Next up is MIAA A Conference Championship game- live on the CW Baltimore at 7:30 if you can't make it out to Towson.

Franklin is set for years to come at the skill positions but their defense and lines will be their undoing.
