A Ridgewood man with ties to the Occupy Wall Street movement was arrested Friday after police found chemicals used to make bombs and weapons in his home.
According to Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli, 60-year-old Roberto Rivera had a large amount of a "highly volatile chemical commonly used for bomb-making."
The chemicals were found after the FBI and members of the Bergen County Bomb Squad obtained a warrant for his Union Street home. Officers also found various weapons, including several assault rifles and a stun gun, Molinelli said.
