Had Tomlin used his supposedly brilliant coaching mind and replaced Leftwich, I'd bet the Steelers win that game. Had Ben played, the Ravens probably would have been soundly defeated. But, a win is a win and you take them any way you can.

    This is true.

You're probably right. Leftwich looked especially horrible on their final series.

Hmmmm...I wonder if the fact that he was wincing after every throw was a clue to you that he was hurt. Then again, maybe he was just being a drama queen.

I don't know that replacing Leftwich guaranteed a win, but it obviously would have improved their chances. The guy was obviously injured. Oh well, 6-2 , first place, onto SD where we may really have some problems. 13 points won't beat them

    Obviously.

(Clue: He looked "Horrible" because he was HURT, and should have been replaced way before it got to that point to give the Steelers a better shot. Tomlin blew that one big time. Oh well...ya win some, and ya lose some. And I'm not shedding any tears for the Steelers. Just pointing out it was a stupid call by Tomlin that hurt his team is all.)

That was strange. The Ravens left Gilreath all alone far downfield but Leftwich got it 2/3 of the way there.

Did I say he wasn't hurt?

He should have been replaced at halftime.

He should have been replaced after the first series. He came up hurting from his touchdown run.

Did you say he wasn't hurt? No. You simply said "He looked especially horrible in the last series", without stating the he was horrible BECAUSE HE WAS HURT. And he looked horrible -- because his shoulder was hurt -- long before the last series. He got hurt on the TD run, which was on the opening drive.

It was a division win, a conference win and a road win. I have no issues on how it was won, not against Pitt. I would think their fans would feel the same if the roles were reversed.
    This!

Just watching the play design of the Niners tonight really highlights just how inept Cam Cameron's schemes are. It's like night and day.
