I heard nothing but kudos for Pitts win last week despite how they played, that works for another teams also.

If it makes you feel better then complain all you want, like you don't annyway but it was a tough fought road win game in the NFL and you do whatever it takes and take what the win.
They do keep winning. And what is really great is that the defense is finally coming together. I still think the team should tackle better than it does, but there is progress.

Every team in the league deserves criticism for some aspect of their team. I mean, what kind of 8-1 team trails a 1-8 team by 14 points at home in the closing minutes, then needs to go deep in to OT to secure the victory. Who gives up 34 points in regulation AT HOME to the Jaguars, riding the backs of Chad Henne and Jalen Parmele?

Arthur Jones... don't plead with a ref for a holding flag while the RB is still dancing around right behind you.

Ray Rice... sometimes just stay on your line towards the sticks and don't feel the need to make a cut on EVERY carry. I think he torpedoed two or three potential 10+ yard carries by slowing down looking for a cut back.

I'm talking about the type of fan who won't enjoy the win at all and just complain about how they won. All teams can work on something. Again this was a big, big win and all Raven fans should be enjoying it instead of complaining.

I will say I'm enjoying all these wins. In fact, I think I'm spoiled with all this winning. A Super Bowl win would be a great exclamation, but how many teams can be consistently good year in and year out like the Ravens have been?

A win is a win, always. A win on the road is even better.

It was a big win for you guys. The Steelers played hard but could not pull it out. Looking forward to the next one.

Do yourselves a favor and watch this replay... then focus on Ihedigbo's hit on Will Allen (#26) at the Steelers 45 yard line...

    http://www.nfl.com/videos/auto/0ap20...punt-return-TD

Considine had the nice block on the other side of the 50 to open the first hole. Ihedigbo was the one who blew up Allen as he turned to chase after the play.

One of those nice ways the Ravens paid homage to Hines Ward tonight, since he was in the stadium being honored or something...

Do you remember when the Ravens signed Consedine and Graham in the offseason? Do you remember the pre-season when they were learning the schemes? Ozzie haters and internet toughguys were out and FIERCE (we all know who they are). They were scathing in their critiques as to why the Ravens were not making a bigger splash in free agency and signing these nobodies instead.

Here is news flash for all of you (again). Our front office is more often right than wrong. Consedine made a CRUSHING special teams block that sprang Jacoby for the game winning TD. Graham was spectacular in his first start. He was one of the best players on the field tonight. His INT was a key to this win. Graham and Consedine were a big reason we won this division game in one of the most hostile NFL road environments. Congrats front office for once again getting the right players (not necessarily the marquee players), at the right price and putting them in the right position to win these tough games. BTW- the same goes for Jacoby. The Ozzie haters were out in full force and blistering in their evaluation after that signing. They screamed that it was a waste of cap space for a butter fingered returner from the playoff game last year against Houston.

Once again, our front office continues to prove that they are much better talent evaluators than the internet toughguys that regularly roam and post here.

And that's why I think anyone complaining on how they won the game is a little looney. Yes Ben gives Pitt a better chance to win the game but even when he does play against the Ravens we still for the most part see these kind of games.

It was a division win, a conference win and a road win. I have no issues on how it was won, not against Pitt. I would think their fans would feel the same if the roles were reversed.

it was an ugly (offensively) game, however, the D stepped up and special teams were solid...this is the third straight year they've won in Pittsburgh....they beat a team that was undefeated at home and had the #1 defense in the NFL....

save for the first minute of the game, the entire team kept plugging away....

this is a victory to savor.....

just think there were people on here who threw in the towel after the Texans debacle...now 11 wins looks doable....

How much of Joe's home vs. away (and the offense overall) split personality issue starts with Birk's head bob / check right before the snap when they're in shotgun?

The Steelers were timing their jump off that all night. It was incredibly obvious to me (and moreso than usual, this isn't a new thing). Granted, they jumped TOO early a couple times and that certainly helped the Ravens. But I can't help but think that over the course of what, 15 to 20+ shotgun snaps per game... that it doesn't hurt the Ravens offense more than they need.

Why was Forest Whitaker playing QB for the Steelers tonight?

I thought that was Gary Coleman-RIP. He's going to be sore tomorrow. Seems liek the D backed off in the second half. they were on the field for awhile with those running backs. Typical cam play calling. But the Steelers D was playing tough. Birk is starting to fade and have probs with leverage late in the games it seems now. I didn't now ellerbe had 2 broken thumbs and played tonight, kudos to that guy.

You're not allowed to enjoy a win around here. If you do, you're called a homer or whatever. Watching football isn't supposed to be fun, it's about getting angry and complaining.

LOL I will try to remember that going forward. Damn Ravens, how dare they win a game that way!
