I'm happy with their record but in all honesty not very optimistic about the rest of the season. I can't recall a defense that has declined so much over the course of one offseason.
Pretty much used to the offense being hit and miss, but we could always rely on the D and I don't think that can be said any longer. They'll probably end up 11-5 or 10-6 and win the AFCN but make a quick exit once the playoffs get going.
You just don't get it. I wrote a long rebuttal to the OP and no one has commented on it. Maybe it's because I tried to engage in conversation, and make you, who constantly criticize the coordinators, realize how unreasonable you are.
You cherry pick your responses, then accuse others of a "straw man" argument. Now with this post, you're just being silly. Your last sentence is saying that you do everything you are accusing others of.
Tell me this (which is my basic premise of my earlier post): How can you say we are 8-2 despite the coaching staff, when you can't say our talent is not worthy of 8-2? Do you really think we are commensurate in talent (after injuries) of a top 5 team (as the record states)? Which is it?
I think in all these cases, that it's not hate. It's simple jealousy, and holding others to unreasonable standards.
A win is a win times 8. How can any Raven fan be unhappy with 8-2? I don't care if they look and win ugly just win. As for the last 6 games, there is only one team that really gives me pause, Denver and only because of Manning. The other five teams are all struggling and have more issues than the Ravens. I can see the Ravens finishing with a 13-3 record and possibly 14-2. And just to set the record straight, I'm not drinking the purple Kool-Aid.
OCF has no trouble throwing Cam under the bus and insulting him but God forbid anybody call out Joe Flacco. Cam is a stand up guy. If you are going to credit Joe Flacco with wins then credit Cam too. It s equally as absurd.
Wanna know what kind of guy Cam Cameron is punk? He is the kind of guy who drives through a snowstorm to meet with a 14 year old Ravens Fan who has cancer (see post below). You call us out for tearing down Flacco, but you do the same and worse for a quality guy like Cam Cameron. I am tired of playing nice with you. You are a punk - a double standard punk who thinks he owns this board. Well, you don't pal. Get used to it - we're not going anywhere.

The Patriots should have lost to us in the AFC championship game last year but guess what they went to the super bowl and we watched it on TV. All that counts is the results. And so far the results have been good. If we lose the next 6 games feel free to come back and blast the coaches all you want. Otherwise it is just people feeling they always know the answer to everything.
I believe he is and he needs to shut the **** up. All you have done is question Cameron's abilities as an offensive coordinator not him as a person. He seems to think everything wrong with the offense is Joe's fault. He chooses to ignore Cameron's bad habits as an OC.
The problem with this forum in general is that when a person has an opinion that's contrary to certain posters(and they know who they are), they take it very personally and get defensive in a ridiculously childish way. It's just an opinion. Who cares? I have to admit, though, that some of these exchanges become almost entertaining at some point, which I suppose is why reality shows are so popular in this country. I'm not proud to admit that but it's the truth.
The problem is that a lot of posters on these forums, such as OCF and his friend costanza do not have any understanding of football. I mean they think they know and understand it but they are just clueless. These are the type of fans that I think Billick was talking about when he said "they don't know the difference between a screen pass and a screen porch." They come up with very complex plays that Cam just doesn't know how to design yet such as "I want to see slants." and "Where are the screens. Screens would work perfect but we don't use them." Well I just think Cam has never thought of using these types of plays or he just doesn't understand how to design them. To OCF's credit, I have noticed he has cooled off a little bit on the personal attacks in the past few days, at least with me. Cam is nowhere near as bad as people on this board think he is. I really think some people think he couldn't run a high school offense which is just plain silly considering his resume. Flacco has a great game then people want to give the credit to Caldwell. Flacco has a bad game then it's all on Cam. If Cam really was as bad as some of us think he is, why would the Ravens still have him on board? I mean they could hire some of us for a lot cheaper and could do a lot better because we would run Ray Rice on a lot more screens and do a lot more stretch plays where Cam just doesn't know how to run these plays. To say "They kept Cam because Harbaugh is too loyal" is ridiculous. If I am the owner and I see my O C just doesn't understand the game in the least, I'm getting rid of him to get someone who understands the game. I want a winner. If Harbaugh demands to keep someone so inept in a critical position that basically will decide win and losses then he is gone as well.
Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving OCF. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
