    My pleasure.
Know what else is a "volitional choice"?

Redundancy. Didn't we talk about this my grimly verbose friend?

I'll give them a pass this time because the word was first uttered in this case by McCain and Graham. I just think they're whiner words in this instance (wah, wah, wah) and others are just parroting them. Politicians are good at parroting.

I never thought that Condolesa Rice was inept, incompetent or any of the other names the GOP would not be calling a white male under the same circumstances. the GOP has a long way to go in realizing the changing face of America. Their vision cost them the election...bigtime.

Meanwhile, let us remind ourselves that few if any of us posters here could do what Susan Rice does as well as she does it. I have heard the woman speak before 'B E N G H A Z I ' and I recognized then that she is a brilliant woman. Keep in mind the woman's credentials and accomplishments and compare them to your own and see if you still agree with the echos throughout B.S. mountain and a result of the drubbing of the GOP got three Tuesdays ago.

Given that pro-choice somehow means that my income gets looked at (against my choice), redundancy ad infinitum ad eternum is the order of the day.

Clyburn's an idiot. if you're going to play in the big leagues (U.S. ambassador to the UN) then you've got to take the heat, and there are no separate standards nor separate code words for black or white ambassadors.

Clyburn's lucky he has a safe House seat. Does he think Jesse Jakson Jr's incompetant, or just crazy?

90% of the House members are in safe gerrymandered seats.

I think people do try to be "racially sensitive" but its impossible when people who are determined to be victims make up new meanings for words they use because people don't generally use the old racially insensitive words.

If someone is determined to be a victim they will find offense no matter what you do.

Lots of words have more than one meaning. The specific word doesn't matter as much as the context.

The context is simple. Those selected to be the US Ambassador to the UN are judged on their performance, irrespective of creed, race or sex.

The 'context' of racist bigots such as Clyburn is his own racist ideology.

Excellent answer to this thread. Of course let us not forget who died in Benghazi.

That's fine but the republicans are calling her 'incompetent' over something that had nothing to do with her performance as UN Ambassador.

As Obama pointed out in his Presser, Rice had nothing to do with Benghazi. Attacking her is basically shooting the messenger...

Why the Republicans are doing what they are doing is up to them to explain. The fact of the matter remains that either (a) her statements were factually incorrect or (b) she lied. If (a) holds then her performance was utterly incompetent.

A- Her statements are supported by the unclassified intelligence memos

B- There's no evidence that she lied or attempted to mislead

C- Republicans in Congress know these things yet they choose to play politics
