    The next great Oriole Robinson!

In a few years, the trio will just roll off of out tongues: Brooks, Frank and Trayvon.

hmm sounds like King Peter and his puppet Duquette are setting up for another triumphant Brian Roberts return so he can bat .180 and spend 130 games on the bench or his couch. And what's this? Now they have outfield depth so they can decline to pay Nate McLouth and let him walk!!! It's always win, win for King Peter but when you print money for a living it usually is.

Robinson appeared on MLB network's 100 best plays of 2012. it just so happens that his catch was at OPACY.

my concern is that they will be using him as a replacement for McLouth. McLouth appeared on the top 100 plays 6 times.

Well let's look at it this way. Which one will play for cheaper? And who's pockets will their salaries be coming out of? And there is your answer

Don't pick on Dan Duquette, you can attack Angelos all day for all I care but don't attack Duquette.

Maybe Safeco finally turns him into a slap hitter.

Looks like one of those stupid trades we usually make. Get a non-hitting outfielder, which we don't need, for a non-hitting but good fielding infielder which we very well might need. If they're counting on Roberts then they haven't changed as much as we hoped.

... or maybe: Earl, Jeff, and Trayvon

Blessings to Robert Andino, and best of luck. He was no star, but he gave me as an Orioles fan some fond memories...some frustration--- and one unforgettable moment. For my memories, he goes into the class of Baltimore Oriole that includes guys like Tito Landrum, Lenn Sakata, Wally Bunker, Kiko Garcia, and Jeff Reboulet.

I wish him well. His game winning 3 RBI double in Fenway off Papelbon in the 8th followed a week later by his walk off in game 162 were both wonderful moments.

Apparently few have actually read the article. There was no mention of them counting on Roberts' return, and Andino was not great defensively. It sounds like they're banking on Alexi Casilla and Flaherty. It's not a trade I'm crazy about, but we're giving up a known mediocre player for someone with potential I guess. Give him a chance.

Yeah Casilla, I was going to mention him. With him getting picked up obviously someone was going to be moved. Since they kept Flaherty on the roster all last year, they clearly wanted to keep him.

If it were my choice, I would move Andino before Flaherty every time. Andino may be a better fielder, imo, but Flaherty has way more potential with the bat.

although he has a smaller sample size, Robinson's numbers are better than Andino's. not significantly better, but they are better. and Robinson has potential to improve. Andino is as good as he's ever going to get, and Casilla trumps him at 2B.

Andino had 13 errors in limited palying time at 2nd base, one of the worst in MLB. And he hit like .210. No big loss.

it could be worst, it could be the NFL. but if Strop pitches like he did for the first 4 months of last season, he can wear his hat any way he wants
