You base your claim that Obama did not compromise on a Marc Thiessen op-ed piece. Do you know who Thiessen worked for before he was in the Bush administration's PR department? Jesse Helms, that's who. Thiessen is three steps to the right of Attila the Hun, and he's paid to advance the Republican cause by putting a pro-right slant on things.

Thiessen's background is relevant to his opinion and the slant he put on the situation.
