    Default Prediction thread Ravens/Chargers

I know the Ravens got Waxed out in San Diego last year but Ibelieve both teams are heading in 2 different directions. The Ravens are playing good but not great in all 3 phases of the game and the Chargers are falling a part within. The game will be tough but San diego's line is really beat up and Philip Rivers is a mental case. Joe Flacco does just enough and wins on a late scoring drive.20-13 Ravens. What do u guys think??

200 yards of total offense won't get it done against Rivers. This has loss written all over it

The San Diego oline is terrible, so if the Ravens can get even a little pressure on Rivers, things should go well.

I pick the Ravens. The offense is due to have a good game on the road right?

The road issues with the Ravens combined with their history in SD does not bode well for the them Sunday. I think we will be looking at another big battle on the 2nd in Baltimore for first place once again.

All of the intangibles point to San Diego. Ravens come off of big rivalry game with a return matchup next week. Ravens don't play well on the road, San Diego is up and down, but they match up well with the Ravens. They have to fly cross country on a holiday week. I had this one pegged as a loss from the begining of the season and I'm sticking with it.

Kruger and Suggs are going to have a field day against that porous line. Rivers will be running for his life. Ravens in a squeaker. 27 - 24

I had this one as a loss from the start of the season but I am feeling like they might steal this one on the road. I will agree with your score.

Aren't the Ravens near the bottom of the league in sacks?

The Ravens continue to be an enigma on offense on the road. To their credit they still are able to win the close ugly games. It seems like the coaching staff HC and or OC do not have a lot of confidence when it comes to the play calls on the road. Hard to figure. The same offense plays like World-Beaters at home.

I will say another close game won by the Ravens.

    24-21 Baltimore.

Well, I predicted them to lose to Pittsburgh and they won so maybe I should do the same with the Chargers game. The thing is, I actually like the Ravens chances in this game. I know people keep harping on last year's blow out but San Diego has been a turnover machine this year and I think it will rear its ugly head again tomorrow, leading to a couple of Baltimore touchdowns. Rivers could very well pile up the yards but he'll make enough mistakes to make the stats irrelevant. I also think this will finally be the day that Ray Rice runs wild to the tune of 120-130 yards. Baltimore 27; San Diego 20

Much to everyone's surprise, this game won't even be close. The D will shine and the O will break loose. Best road win in a long time.

    Ravens 34
    Chargers 10

its pretty trendy on the national scene to pick against the ravens today .......

the chargers are in melt down mode and they will not rally to save turner's job ........

    the ravens will win 24 - 13 .......

Hopefully they'll turn it around in the 2nd half and make my prediction wrong Some of these score predictions are looking mighty fun now though

Thus far the sacks are the ONLY thing I'm close on.
