I said the same thing about CHC.

Now you're holding the ECA flag again? Talk about hypocrisy! Please don't go there with me! Show me anywhere where I changed up anything! If there's anything about me, I'm consistent! You might not agree with it but I don't change s h i t EVER. In fact I take serious offense to that.

Do you know any Gilman coaches? Do you know the AD? You know Poggi? Well I do and no they don't care about state rankings. Am I saying that they don't want to be #1 in the State, of course that's not what I'm saying. But if they aren't #1 and not beating GC, where they fall after that really means nothing to them! Who remember who was second or third in the state 10 years from now?

Now back to your statement about you believe that Gilman should have won by more in games this year. Here are the Gilman scores and you tell me what games they should have won by more besides Bosco.

Gilman 13 Bosco-6(tell me the last time Bosco was blown out)

Gilman 37 Charlotte Christian 14(was 37-7 with starters in)

Gilman 37 MSJ 7(Gilman was winning 37-0 until last 30 secs of game)

Gilman 49 Spalding 2(Gilman was winning 49-0 at beginning of 2nd quarter and starters out)

Gilman 47 Loyola 7(running clock and Loyola only scored on a INT)

Gilman 24 CHC 14(Gilman ran clock down with ball on 4 yard line and the ball)

Gilman 48 McDonogh 12(another running clock)

Gilman 20 McDonogh 8(McDonogh scored on a block punt)

Gilman 35 CHC 7(CHC didn't score until 4th quarter and game over)

Only game here where I believe the score should have been higher would be the first CHC game. McDonogh played a great second game.
Just going by the arguments you made against me over the last two years... sorry it offends you to the point of cursing... no need to get emotional just an opinion..... By the way ECA would have beat Gilman this year but unfortunately Gilman was scared.. Spalding wasn't and they would tell you ECA was better than Gilman.. And don't tell me anything about changing on ECA or holding a flag because our decision to leave had nothing to do with the ECA team or players but about my own kids schooling.. I still root for those kids regardless... As it turns out my kids are very happy in their new school .. BUT that does not mean I hold any ill will or I am anti ECA or anything just it wasn't right for us.... regardless ECA would have beat Gilman... Gilman is a very good team but not elite.. sorry that hurts your feelings but its what I believe having seen elite teams.... elite teams are great on offense and defense ... good teams are only good on one or the other.... Gilman great defense below average offense .. just like Bosco... That said ECA is great offense average defense but their offense is enough to beat Gilman... In my opinion. All personal opinions of the schools and how they came about aside .. Just the teams themselves... unfortunately "we" will never know but I know...

That's not what I meant by carrying the ECA flag. ECA didn't have an average defense, they had a very much below average defense and a good offense. Not a great offense. Your opinion is your opinion, you never saw Gilman in person(I know this because I was at every game and didn't see you at one), I saw ECA and they were not even close to Gilman's level. Calling Gilman scared is laughable!! I guess the whole country was scared because NO ONE WANTED to play them for the same reason why Gilman didn't.

Actually I am just messing with you mostly... but teams didn't play them because their state associations wouldn't sanction the games but that isn't true for Gilman and MIAA teams.. hence why Spading could play them... many teams wanted to play them, they just couldn't. I saw Gilman this year on TV vs Moeller and wasn't impressed. I didn't get to Md much this year to catch a game live but there is enough info and video out there for me to come to the conclusion... The Jennings and Cyrus Jones teams were better than this years team at least offensively... just my opinion....

I can understand the different perspective about an undefeated 4A wise finishing above Gilman after winning their state championship...but def not a Dematha....Dematha has 3 loses and didnt even win their conference championships.....

We all know that Gilmans schedule was extremely tough and they lost to better opponents that Dematha's Gonzaga...Nonetheless also look at the head to head between both parties vs. GC.....Gilman's game was closer....or look at the head to heads vs CHC....Gilman beat CHC with more dominance....

    Those are just my thoughts...

You are probably right.... I would like to have seen them play and settle it on the field. It would not be a slam dunk - that's for sure.

I wasn't impressed with Gilman against Moeller either but ECA ain't Moeller. As you can see with Moeller, sometimes teams have bad days. Moeller lost 3 games and got BLOWN OUT by a team that didn't even make the Ohio playoffs. But they they then beat two consensus Top 10 teams Nationally. Many teams were bi-polar this year.

No question Gilman was better with Jennings and Jones offensively. But that defense they had this year was very much so elite.
