Right..........as a lad I always wondered why he stayed on as an astronaut and why he insisted on keeping Barbara Eden in that bottle.......

I liked him best in I Dream of Jeannie. My parents met him in England just after the war. He drove around in a small British sports car. They said he was one of the nicest persons they met there.

It bought him a new liver that would normally be given to people who haven't distroyed their own by alcohol abuse. He didn't even have to stop drinking, a prerequisite for liver transplant patients. He should have stuck with the pot.

Yeah. It's good to be a "star."

    May he R.I.P.

I wish I'd have had some insider info... I'd have dumped my Champagne Industry shares beforehand...

Meh, too bad for him. Alcohol & drugs, one only has one body to abuse.

He lived a full life. That's what it is all about. He drank and smoked weed like everyone else of that era but NO wife beatings, no criminal arrest and everything I have seen says he was a really nice guy and great actor. Played 2 charactors of opposite personalities very well: Tony Nelson and JR Ewing.
    RIP.

Did one liver play one character and another liver play the other?

Seriously, I don't know if he was a nice guy or not. He was just an average jobbing actor in my opinion.

    Either way, R.I.P. Larry.
