    Question Maryland lady terps basketball

It is another year of college hoops and I am looking forward to an exciting season..especially in the ladies game..however, at this point, I cannot get to excited about the chances of the lady terps...they once again have the big girls but who is going to get the ball to them...who, on this team is going to handle the basketball...this seems to have been a problem during most of Brenda Freese's tenure at Maryland...the ladies can play well against most teams but when they face good teams with really good guard play you can just about predict a blowout...at this point Maryland is relying on a freshman to handle the ball...against UConn...I hesitate to think what that score may be...I believe it will be a long season for the lady terps...they will, of course, win a lot of games and probably get to the big dance but the sweet sixteen is a very long shot...but then, who knows..chloe pavlech may be a diamond in the rough...I will be rooting for her..

Yes they did..my favorite lady terp ever..with that step back jumper...and, of course, Brene Mosely was lost this year to an acl injury...but since that championship, there have been any number of games during which our ball handling and defensive prowess has been taken to task..i.e Notre Dame and Skylar Diggins (whom I love to watch)..we lost by 30 points...and when we play UConn, I see similar results if not worse...I hope that I am wrong..

I have been tolerating "Lady" Terps basketball on the basis that they were, um, Terps.

Now they've sold their soul to the higest bidder. So I am free to point out that Lady athletics is a joke.

That being said then I would think that goes for all of the Terps teams..men,women,turtles, etc...or is it that u think women still belong in the kitchen..

I await with baited breath your 20th post here.

I'm sure it will be something profound.

For someone with your mentality it would not take much...and the number of posts from you indicates the level of your literacy...you should take some time and expand your horizons..try reading your local sandhills news paper...say something original for a change rather that criticizing others...I'm done with you...you can trash me all you want..I will simply consider the source..."kudzu"

I see UConn can do whatever they like....3, 4, 5 steps at a time. Dribble penetrate then take 2 steps back (no pivot).

No wonder their always so good.

Lady Terps look like the mens football team. Three girls now with torn ACLs. Mincy in the Nebraska game finished any chance of a National Championship. Starting point guard down also.

    some real lopsided officiating
