No the Baby Boomers will want to repaid for this. Their retirement fund is STILL our Nation's greatest creditor. China only holds about 10% of our debt. The other 90% is held by the Baby Boomers.

I think at this point, 99% either wear seat belts or they don't, there are very few "fence sitters" that can be persuaded by psychological influences ,imho.
The few "hard core" non- wearers I know are adamant and don't even respond to tickets, a dummy sure isn't going to change their minds.

People in accidents and not wearing seat belts should forfeit ALL claims to any type of legal compensation, no exceptions.

When people are ejected from vehicle accidents because they did not have their seat belts on, how do realistically respond to someone who tells this story and lost a loved one that way?

I can't imagine anyone thinking this is a good use of taxdollars, or rather, the rational behind thinking it's a good use.

They're also adding these Jersey walls along 695 between the Back River bridge and Rosedale. That is also a waste of money. They should spend money on building a new Potomac River bridge between Maryland and Virginia to replace the ferrry since the access roads from both sides already exist. They should also build a second Route 90 bridge to Ocean City since the existing two lanes are not enough to accomodate all the traffic in the summer and the traffic is often backed up all the way into Berlin.
