They know voters have Attention Deficit Disorder [and possible brain damage] from drinking bottled tap water, eating steroid-laced meat, and breathing polluted air.. So w.t.*. It'll all be forgotten on election day. #sic

Lets put it in a way you might understand. It would have bought a powerful mess a food stamps.
No the Baby Boomers will want to repaid for this. Their retirement fund is STILL our Nation's greatest creditor. China only holds about 10% of our debt. The other 90% is held by the Baby Boomers.

People in accidents and not wearing seat belts should forfeit ALL claims to any type of legal compensation, no exceptions.

When people are ejected from vehicle accidents because they did not have their seat belts on, how do realistically respond to someone who tells this story and lost a loved one that way?

You sort of stepped in it with the "it's a Federal grant" comment, as far as the argument about taxdollar waste goes.

I can't imagine anyone thinking this is a good use of taxdollars, or rather, the rational behind thinking it's a good use.

On that aspect, whats your thoughts?

They're also adding these Jersey walls along 695 between the Back River bridge and Rosedale. That is also a waste of money. They should spend money on building a new Potomac River bridge between Maryland and Virginia to replace the ferrry since the access roads from both sides already exist. They should also build a second Route 90 bridge to Ocean City since the existing two lanes are not enough to accomodate all the traffic in the summer and the traffic is often backed up all the way into Berlin.
