Just wow is right. Arrowhead at one time was one of the hottest venues to watch an NFL game. I've never been there but I heard the tailgating was over the top and had a passionate fan base that sold out games over and over. Jason Whitlock who is now a writer for Fox Sports wrote an article awhile back about the current situation in KC. Pretty good read.
