So you want to give him credit for Joe and the offense finally lighting fire, by all means. Those short types of passes should have been schemed FROM THE OUTSET. But that's just not Cameron's way.
So who gets the credit for the play calling on the TD drive? Great you hate the guy so much your pride won't let you give him any credit for anything. Good for you.

Watch the replay and, you are right, his knee hit at the 35.

However, he was falling forward and almost laying out level when his knees hit. My daughter is 5' 8" and we measured from her knees to just below shoulder level. It is about 4 feet (1 1/3 yards - exactly where the spot wound up!)

Late drives to beat the Pats. Late drive to beat the Browns on the road. Late drives to tie / beat the Chargers on the road. Made a game-clinching play with his feet at KC. Led a drive to widen the lead late against Dallas after they cut it to 1. Threw what would have likely been a game-sealing late TD at Philly that was wiped out by a touchy offensive PI. Is Joe getting the right amount of national media credit for coming up big most of the time late in games?

Just to let you know, I let her hold the tape measure up top, let the tape hang vertially and just read off the number.

We live in GA, not WV!

    1) I was raised right my Mom and Dad and 2) even if I had not, my daughter shoots too well! I taught her!

Personally I think there's a decent chance Rice would have been short if they had electronic chips in the football. But there was NOTHING on replay that could have confidently over-rule the spot to a large degree.

It points out another flaw in the replay process. Considering the spot of the ball is a replay-eligible item, there should always be a camera looking right down the "line of gain", from both sidelines at a minimum.

And while I've only seen the NFL Network highlight reel... looks like the Steelers got screwed out of a late take-away simply because they didn't have any TOs left. Shameful. Whether a team has any timeouts or not, it shouldn't prevent the league / refs from making the right call.

Nice/interesting win. While 4th quarter comebacks are fun, the Ravens need to find some early offensive success when on the road.

Agreed, but watching the last three games, it looks like the opposition are making some adjustments:

Flacco is the best at the 12 - 15 out route. Now defenses are running an extra defender under that route forcing Flacco to throw the ball higher in hopes of completing the play (I think that defense started in the road game at Cleveland when the OLB turned and ran to a spot underneath Boldin and made the INT). That takes away, or at least makes more difficult, a play that has been a staple of the Ravens offense.

I'm not sure, but it seems that they are rushing another LB or DB from Pitta's side making him stay in and block more frequently.

I believe these adjustments keep the offense from getting into a good rythm until Cam and Flacco make their own adjustments.

They did so against SD but, maddenly, not until the 3rd quarter.

Andy Reid might be available...Jason Garrett - maybe...Norv Turner would be an excellent fit for the Ravens...Jim Schwartz looked impressive on Thanksgiving! There are so many coaches better than Harbaugh and company that I wonder why the Ravens just don't fire the whole coaching staff today before it's too late.

yep it is Camron. on 4 and inches RICE runs into 8 guys every time when Flacco could do a QB sneak for 1 st down.

First of all, was it cam's poor play calling that got them into a 4th and 29? Hint...the answer is no. Was it cam's poor play calling that got them knocked out of fg range right before the 4th and 29? Hint...the answer is no. If the offense plays bad, then that falls directly on Cam and not the players, not Flacco, nobody but cam. If the offense plays good then it has nothing to do with Cam whatsoever. You can't have it both ways, son. Why is it Cam only gets the credit when the team does bad but he has nothing to do with it when they put up 31 points against the Pats?
