I haven't seen this discussed, but maybe the issue some people have is the length of time it took for an arrest to be made: two weeks.

There were two witnesses to the shooting. Perhaps the police had a reason for waiting, but it makes some people wonder.

You both are very wrong here. If you're so interested in my posting history on crimes involving people killing other people, go back and look at it. I have always been fair and race has never been an issue for me. I think one human killing another is terrible, no matter there color. I resent being labeled the way you two have labeled me. I really do. I'm sad that this stupid guy shot this man. Why they waited 2 weeks to arrest him while having eye witnesses is just beyond me. If the delay was based on the race of the shooter, then someones head should roll. Did you ever consider that things aren't as clear cut as reported?

Could be they waited to arrest him because they were taping his calls, monitoring emails and gathering evidence hoping he slipped up if it was premeditated murder. The story hes giving along with the witnesses is they were all friends and it was an accident
The state down there isnt going easy on him, theyre going for the home run and charged him with murder.
They aren't buying his story and theyre not going after manslaughter where he could get out of prison before he's 40
