I'm not such a bad guy and I'm sure you aren't either. I'm guessing most of us posting here are Americans who have owner ship in this great country. We have hit a deep dark realization that we could be on a sinking ship if we don't start to bail out the water now. And we should, whether some want to admit it or not, give credit to those angry old white tea party folks who were the first to start screaming bloody murder about our indebtedness.

..............how is life in Puerto Rico? I have not visited in many decades. All I remember being told by the Shore Patrol was not under any circumstances go down to the old city/town, so of course that was the first place I headed for and did not come out for 3 days. I had a ball but then spent the rest of the visit confined to the submarine for being absent without leave!

That was fun! I was a lover not a fighter and that was why I never got out of the 'old town' for 3 days! But it was worth being confined to the submarine for the rest of the visit!

Never tell a GI he can't go to a certain area while on liberty. Cause he's gonna go now! I'm sure things have changed here quite a bit since you were here. Did you pull into the now closed Roosevelt Roads Naval Base or the San Juan Harbor? Lot's more people here too. Over 4.5 million. With the unemployment issue, many of the bilingual PRicans are moving to the mainland. I had a job here up until a couple years ago. Fortunately I have a military pension, medical and put some doh-ray-me away for a rainy day.

The viewpoint is one of objectivity.

The answer to that scheme or skeem is no. The induction of additional angiogenesis for the bulk mass tumor is not the appropriate approach (although the Cloward-Pivens strategy without the terminus outcome does have its merits).

We were in San Juan Harbor, but it was in the late 60's and I have not been back since. I was in the Royal Navy at the time and if I remember correctly there was a small bridge that separated the "old town" from the rest which had an American Shore Patrol stopping us from going across. We waited them out and when they moved on for something we all scampered over this bridge (if I remember the bridge correctly because we were already well lubricated) and into the old town. I quickly got separated from the others who had the sense to go back on time. But as usual I fell in love and never came out for 3 days. Ladies were always my downfall!

The bridge separating the old town from the new is still there. The old town now includes a beautiful tourist area called the Condado. Course we're talking about the east side of the island. I live on the NWest side where surfing is big. Don't know if you have heard of the town Rincon? Come winter lot's of surfing events are held there. Pro's from all over show up. I see the waves are already starting to form just nicely for surfing.

I'm not certain of the town, but the brother of one of the Associate Brokers in my office recently purchased 2 Ocean Front/View Condo's in, I think Rincon. That would make sense and fit because he owns a Surf Shop in Bethany Beach here, so that is probably where he purchased the units.

Rincon is a nice place. Lot's of Americans open up unique businesses to the island there.
