Durango, you seem to think that somehow gay marriage will cause the end of heterosexual marriage an heterosexual sex.

Rest at ease. Homosexuality was already an option and gay people already has access to gay sex.
Most of us hetero people intend to stay straight. I am not at all tempted to switch teams but you do what you want. Rest at ease: the species will survive.

Just because we allow same-sex couples to marry doesn't negate anything regarding opposite-sex couples. Yes, men and women make babies. Two men or two women cannot make a baby between them. This is a well-known fact.

I hadn't noticed any shortage of babies being born. Are you imagining that heterosexual couples will somehow disappear, or stop bearing children, if homosexual couples can legally marry?

My wife and I adopted our kids. So can two men who are married. A lesbian couple can use an anonymous sperm donor (as many heterosexual couples have done over several decades).
