    Default Playoff Tickets invoice ......

what the heck is a "playoff fee"? .......

and its one flat fee for 2 potential games per seat ......

would a wildcard round game be the same cost as an AFC Championship game or will they settle that up later like they do when they don't have a home game or a lesser number of games? ......

Well, PSL ownership was never meant for the feighnt of heart, financially speaking. Whatever they want to call it they decided they needed a buck more or so but thought it would sound worse if it were simplly included in the ticket price. Remember when they used to fed- ex our tix and they had our names on them and all that?

Anyway, I like it this year, we don't have to pay for the second game if it isn't played and don't have to pay for games 1 and 2 up front-- they offer an option if we commit to both by paying for the first, and will only charge us for the 2nd if it comes to be.

If Ravens get two playoffs games and you a PSL holder with the better seats, I imagine the cost for a pair of tickets to each game would costly.

Hard to pay out that kind of cash and when the game is totally free on TV.

    to each his own .......

by that logic, you would never, ever go to a superbowl because they are really pricey ......

I know my trips to see the ravens win the superbowl was well worth the money (as was away trips to playoff games like nashville) .......

there are plenty of others that don't feel the way you do and the stadium will be full.........

    enjoy .......

Not really... not when the atmosphere at an NFL game, never mind a playoff game, is second to none in all of professional sports.

As an older guy, the stadium atmosphere of today's NFL games has really changed the experience for me.

I was a long time Baltimore Colts season ticket holder on 33rd street.

Anyone who went to the games knows the 33rd street experience was different, not better than M & T, but different:

Memorial stadium was like a Gothic structure in the midst of tiny row houses and crowded streets.

When you walked to your seat the green emerald grass (early season) was so different than the asphalt streets of the city.

Fans were loud, however, they usually stayed SEATED for the most of the game. At M & T some fans want to stand the WHOLE game, still trying to figure out that one.

M & T has lots of younger fans. Many seem like they are looking for an opportunity to fight with visitors. At 33rd street, Colts fans loved the experience of mingling with out of town visitors. When the Bills played it was fun to see about 10 bus loads of fans pulling into the parking lot after making the trip from Buffalo. There were some fights, but it was mostly drunks, who were idiots before they even arrived at the game.

As the saying goes, if you have to explain it, you would not understand it.

    whatever........

my dad had season tickets to the colts and I went with my dad during the 60's and early 70's .......

bought my own season tickets when the place started emptying out and fans gave up on them in the late 70's and had season tickets when they left .......

the place was a ghost town the last few years and you could even buy walk up tickets to the playoff games in the mid 70's ......

its nice to wax nostalgic but we live in a different world .......

folks don't get dressed up and do their shopping down on howard street like you probably did in your colts heyday .......
