    Default McLouth

    So DD tells MASN that talks with Saunders and Nate McLouth have been a little slow

    piss farting around again huh front office ?

    stop the BS and sign them

    McLouth played a huge part in getting this team in the playoffs. Not too mention he was the only Oriole that could actually hit Yankee pitching in the playoffs....

    typical = the Oriole way

    The Yankee pundits on YES (Francesa et al) rave about McLouth and talk up the Yankees signing him. According to them, neither Swisher nor Soriano are returning to the Yankees.

    Wow the whining has started early this year. And I've always been one of the whiners. But DD shut me up with not only his offseason last year but by being the best GM in baseball during the season(McLouth,Saunders,Machado,M Gonzalez,etc). Fans need to remember not only do a lot of moves get made in Feb and March but the roster we see July 1st will be a lot different from the one we see Opening day. Get a quality 1B,LF and SP and I'm happy. No need to overpay on Hamilton and others. Guarantee that Tor will be a 4th place team. They'll win 80 instead of 69 but will still finish 4th.

    not sure how you come up with Toronto being a 4th place team given the acquisitions they have made already

    on paper.........that doesn't make much sense

    Toronto's rotation has potential, but they got a 34 year old, a guy who has been getting injured a lot over the last few years, and a top SS.
    Morrow hasn't been able to stay on the mound, Romero and Alvarez pitched innings, but not effectively. Drabek was also horrible.
    This means that the only reliable part of what they got was another offensive player.
    This will also make their defense better, but their defense still won't be good.
    Hopefully they will be able to figure out a way to steal signs outside of Toronto - maybe then they will have success enough to win ballgames.
