Judge: City pension overhaul can stand

Once again, the Courts accept that Baltimore City doesn't have to honor its contracts. (They also did that in the 90's when Kurt L Schmoke backed out of a Police contract).
One very interesting note is:

I find that interesting because of the court term: "Fruits of the poison tree." It is the belief that if part of the tree is poison, the whole thing is bad. (Or for court purposes: If one part of the arrest is bad, the whole thing is bad).
I guess that only works when the courts are trying to find a reason to let murderers and rapists go free.
